I was really hoping for a more engaging tour. It was a pretty informative tour, with plenty of local lore and some very interesting historical facts. I was hoping for and kind of expecting them to incorporate some props to make the tour a bit more spooky and "interactive". And they definitely had plenty of opportunities and backdrops to do... I personally did not go on the tour due to all of the walking but my son and his dad did and they loved it! Upon returning to the hotel, they had several stories to tell. The owner was the guide and they raved about all the extras he added to the tour. It was suppose to 90 minute tour... More

Great Fun! Took kids with us ages 7 and 9 and they loved it! Very appropriate for all ages! We all agreed it was the most fun activity we did!

The Haunting Tales of Lexington was not only historically accurate concerning the unusual circumstances regarding the deaths of local and famous people, but the tour guide was also quite humorous. The tour included some magic tricks and impersonations. Mark, owner and tour guide, was also very accommodating. Several folks on our tour needed a cane or wheel chair to get... More

I have been on several "ghost tours" and this one was by far the best. Very entertaining and quite educational. You'll learn history, but you'll also pick up a few bits of random knowledge as well. For those who are on the fence about bringing young ones, there is really nothing scary about the tour, and it's presented in such... More

I was hoping for lots of visual effects, creepy stories, and frankly a more haunting experience. What I got was a pleasant but tame walk through town, lots of Confederate/southern pride references, and a couple of cheesy amateur magic tricks. It's fine, but nothing to get excited about.

Starts at the visitors center in Lexington and walks around Lexington including the grave site of Stonewall Jackson. Cost is $13 and bring cash. Excellent tour guide. She was funny and informative and told interesting stories. Tour is about 1 and a half hours. You are not walking the entire time but you are are your feet all the time.... More

With Fall and Halloween approaching it is a good time to take our states local ghost tours. Although most run throughout the year it is much more exciting to do them in the fall and during October. The leaves are in full color, the temps are great from cool to cold and you can feel the spirit of Halloween as... More
