All chocolates were offered along with a white. I found some of the bittersweet to be a little grainy....but good. More

I personally think they are missing the mark - Wall Street review or not. The candy is tasty but could use more flavor complexity and less sugar. It would be nice if the contents labeling included grams of sugar per ounce. More

1st time visitor. If I had unlimited income I'd go back. Walked in and there was a young girl that looked stunned we were there. I started to think that the store was not open to the public or I was doing something wrong. I saw the prices and was stunned. All the items I saw were 1.50 each (for... More

I walked into the Cocoa Mill store in Staunton, VA completely on a whim today, and what an absolutely wonderful whim it was! I left with two 1/2 pound bags of dark chocolate non pareils and a very happy belly after having enjoyed a delicious sample! I consider myself a reasonably impressive chocolate connoisseur, and I think the Cocoa Mill... More

My, my...where did all these 5-stars come from? We agree, wholeheartedly, with a previous reviewer...the ratings must've come from the owners themselves, or friends. First of all, starting with the store-front, this shop is VERY outdated and the chocolate, in our opinion, substandard. How they remain in business is beyond our imagination. We've visited Lexington on several occasions, and this... More

We are so sorry to hear that after all those years you will not be visiting Cocoa Mill anymore. To respond to your statement of being out dated: we recently moved our store's location and have completely redone our entire appearance from packaging to storefront layout. We encourage you to visit our new location and see what you think. As... More

This small town shop is a delightful treat. The staff was extremely helpful in suggesting yummy treats. The kids loved the half dipped mints and smores bark, and the adults were drooling over the grand mariner truffles and the snappers (cocoa mill's version of a turtle). This is one place I will visit again and again. Also upon arrival we... More

Cocoa Mill is a very unique shop offering a variety of hand-made confections. After several visits to this small town shop, I was really impressed with the last visit. They had more new products available than ever before, while it is a little pricey I found that the quality of the chocolate and the wide variety was worth the money.... More

After reading about others' experiences here, we thought we'd have to stop by ourselves and try it out. My family loves choclate and every city we go to we try their local chocolates. Immediately upon entering we noticed the prices - a lot - a small bag of pretzels (4 large dipped in chocolate) costs $9.35, a small snapper (turtle)... More

Their candy is delicious--I've been ordering on premises and by phone for years. However, their customer service is slipping. When they failed to send me the two boxes of candy I ordered recently (only one came), I called to see if the second one had been sent separately. They checked on their end and had only listed one box--they sent... More
