Our visit today was prompted by a bottle we drank last week. I was looking for a bottle and found a 2008 Chamborchin in the cellar. In a word it was wonderful, so we headed back too see what was available now.The 2008 is long gone but they had 2011 and there is a possibility of getting 2010 next week.... More

Dry Mill Winery is a great place to go and hang out on a sunny spring/summer/fall day! Always enjoy the people and the wine is pretty good too!

We really enjoyed discussing and tasting how the weather affected the different vintages. However the pours were quite small and the wine was just okay. Pretty setting and a nicely restored place.

We arrived at Dry Mill to do a basic wine tasting. The wines they had on offer that day were not varied (included three chardonnays and two merlots from different years), which would not be a major issue, but many of them left something to be desired. However, what made the visit less than enjoyable was the rushed service we... More

We were the only people there for the tasting soon after it opened on a Saturday. The server was personable, informed, and honest in his appraisal of the wines. We preferred the red wines.

This place has great character and love what the owners have done to restore the horse stables and make their tasting room very inviting. They have wonderful wines with very friendly staff that are not only knowledgeable but very accommodating.

Fun place, worth a visit! Tasting was $5 for six wines. Selected a wine, enjoyed a glass outside while listening to live music.

Dry Mill is one of the first wineries we visited in Louden. If you're driving into the wine growing region from the east, it will be one of your first as well. But do not be discouraged. The tasting room is very cute, the owners are wonderful people, but the wine is meh.

As part of our attempt to visit all of the vineyards in Virginia, Dry Mill was on our list this weekend. We almost missed the driveway as it snuck up on us. The tasting room is not at the end of a long driveway through rows of vines, instead it's close to the country road it's on. Don't be deceived by... More

The first thing the staffer behind the tasting bar said to us when we walked into Dry Mill was, "Well, I guess you're okay. We're getting ready to close." This was a good 15 minutes before closing. Gee, thank you for taking the time to take my money. We stayed because it was the last stop on our itinerary for... More
