Great wines in a cozy setting.

Of the three new wineries I visited yesterday, this one had my favorite wines. Really enjoyed most of their wines but preferred the rose the best. Also, as a fan of slushie... read more

Tastings for only $5? YES. Wine slushies? YES. Warm baguettes for only $3? YES. I had a hard time taking a place with a wine slushie seriously, but let me say, the slushies were delicious! Dry Mill was significantly less crowded than the Vineyard we had just traveled from, which was a huge plus. The woman pouring our tasting was... More

Of the three new wineries I visited yesterday, this one had my favorite wines. Really enjoyed most of their wines but preferred the rose the best. Also, as a fan of slushie wine, I can see myself stopping here next summer for a picnic and a glass or two of either of the two slushie wines they offered. Nice older... More

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The space/building is old and interesting (reminds me of a northern European farm). Unfortunately, the wine is just so-so. Not a lot of flavor going on... almost watery tasting.

Came here and really enjoyed the wine that was in the tasting. The red wines weren't anything special but the Chardonnay had an amazing flavor which I ended up buying to sit out on the rocking chairs with a friend and enjoying the view. Excellent service and great knowledge of the wines.

We did a full tasting and were not rushed through it which gave taste buds some time to recover for the delicious barbecue truck that happened to be there that day (what luck). Very good wines Enjoyed the 2012 Chardonnay and the 2013 White Stallion.

Nice winery, wines were good. Service was good. Eric took care of us. We bought the traminette and the chambourcin rose.

We absolutely LOVE Dry Mill. The owners, Dean and Nancy, are incredible people and it shows in their wine. The make awesome bottles that you won't find elsewhere in Virginia. During the spring, summer and early fall the patio is a wonderful place to share a bottle with someone or friends while listening to live music. The tasting room is... More

Our visit today was prompted by a bottle we drank last week. I was looking for a bottle and found a 2008 Chamborchin in the cellar. In a word it was wonderful, so we headed back too see what was available now.The 2008 is long gone but they had 2011 and there is a possibility of getting 2010 next week.... More

We really enjoyed discussing and tasting how the weather affected the different vintages. However the pours were quite small and the wine was just okay. Pretty setting and a nicely restored place.
