Gorgeous views! Chuck, our tasting expert was knowledgeable and friendly. Tasting room was spacious and rustic. We liked that each of our group could make their own selections of 7 wines to taste. LaBarge BBQ onsite for a delicious lunch under the shady trees overlooking the valley. Follow the driving directions on their website for a better drive in to... More

I "won" a tasting and tour for 8 on a "silent auction." Friends "took off work" to go with us...for a scheduled appointment. No one to greet us...waited...waited...someone came in and said, "here is your glass of wine"...I could not even swallow it. Somehow...the tour never happened...what a waste of time and time off from work. Once was enough..... This... More

I took a group of friends and co-workers on a misty Saturday morning. Lew had arranged for a fellow local winemaker to give us a tour, and the tasting pouring a were generous enough to get sense of the wines. We brought food and picnicked outside with recent purchases, making a sweet start to a tasting day.

Knowledgeable staff guided us through a tasting in a wonderful rustic old barn. Impressed by wines, staff and atmosphere. This is definitely a rural location and the views are worth the trip. A great place to picnic and to take photos. We will return.

My husband and I went to Willowcroft with high expectations, considering this is the oldest vineyard in Northern VA. The view was beautiful and we were looking forward to enjoying a glass of wine outside on a picnic table. Unfortunately, that did not happen. We walked into the tasting room and right up to the bar, there was plenty of... More

One of our favorites! Enjoyed the tasting in a rustic barn but some of the wines one the website are only available to club members. Enjoyed the thorough explanation of the wines. Great variety of dry, sweet and dessert. Spectacular views with private outdoor seating. Oldest vineyard in Loudon county. Definitely recommend.

Pros: Historic Winery, Friendly Staff, Good Range of Wines, Nice Area, Winery Events, Chocolate Pairing Cons: Small, Average Wines, Cramped Atmosphere History: "The vineyards at Willowcroft date back to the early part of the modern viticulture era of Virginia." I was told during my tasting that this is the oldest winery in Louden County and possibly the sixth oldest in... More

We really enjoyed our visit to this little gem yesterday, tucked away in the mountains. We enjoyed a very generous 7-wine tasting and the atmosphere. With all the snow on the ground, we couldn't enjoy the outdoor seating, but we'll go back to see it in nice weather. They have a great view of the valley below!

When our garden club wanted to learn more about growing and harvesting grapes, Lew Parker of Willowcroft Farm Vineyard was the man to contact. This is the oldest vineyard in Loudoun County, started by Lew in the beginning of the 1980's. We spent time among the grapes, hearing the history of Willowcroft and the importance of sighting the vineyard, then... More

Willowcroft is one of the older Virginia wineries and it shows. The wine is not extreme in flavor (as some) but smooth and delicate. The maturity is obvious. Willowcroft is a great rustic setting with a spectacular garden view. We've taken visitors to Willowcroft several times but visits in hunting season were marred by sudden and loud bangs. Unexpected and... More
