Great place and great wine. Love the fact that you can customize the tasting menu for what you like. They have an amazing wine club and always go out of their to make members (and regular customers) feel special. We have been to over 30 wineries in the area and always keep coming back to willowcroft because of the wine... More

We took my sister there when she visited and we were quite impressed with the complexity of their wines. This was not your ordinary Virginia wines. This is an older family run vineyard. They keep is small for a reason. The venue is not everything many other vineyards attempt to be but they make up for it in the quality... More

This winery is a very pretty place to visit. We visited the winery on Labor Day Weekend, after stopping at Stone Tower Vineyard, just about a mile away, which was mobbed. Service to do a tasting at Willowcroft took forever! They were very understaffed, to start with. What made it worse was that they were unprepared for tastings in every... More

My fiancé and I decided to stop at Willowcroft for a tasting. We knew of them from their visits to our farmers market. It was quite a drive to get there, but it was expected going to a winery. The trip was pleasant and once your there the ground are nice. Once in the tasting room it took a minute... More

After a busy day with friends I found myself close by this winery so I stopped in for a tasting. It is set up in a barn style and really cute. You can chose 7 wines from their list. The ones I tasted were all good.

We bought a special deal coupon which gave a tasting and credit for purchase of wine. Upon arriving, we were happy to see a beautiful, old barn being kept up as the tasting room. Upon entering, we were greeted by a nice lady who we showed the coupon to and she set us up with a younger man who was... More

First thing that surprised us was that the road to get to the winery isn't paved. You're on a dirt road that isn't quite wide enough to let two cars pass for about 3 miles. The winery is small, but very picturesque. Has a great view with a beautiful outdoor space. The old barn houses the tasting room. It looks... More

Gorgeous views! Chuck, our tasting expert was knowledgeable and friendly. Tasting room was spacious and rustic. We liked that each of our group could make their own selections of 7 wines to taste. LaBarge BBQ onsite for a delicious lunch under the shady trees overlooking the valley. Follow the driving directions on their website for a better drive in to... More

I "won" a tasting and tour for 8 on a "silent auction." Friends "took off work" to go with us...for a scheduled appointment. No one to greet us...waited...waited...someone came in and said, "here is your glass of wine"...I could not even swallow it. Somehow...the tour never happened...what a waste of time and time off from work. Once was enough..... This... More

I took a group of friends and co-workers on a misty Saturday morning. Lew had arranged for a fellow local winemaker to give us a tour, and the tasting pouring a were generous enough to get sense of the wines. We brought food and picnicked outside with recent purchases, making a sweet start to a tasting day.
