My fiancé and I decided to stop at Willowcroft for a tasting. We knew of them from their visits to our farmers market. It was quite a drive to get there, but it was expected going to a winery. The trip was pleasant and once your there the ground are nice. Once in the tasting room it took a minute... More

After a busy day with friends I found myself close by this winery so I stopped in for a tasting. It is set up in a barn style and really cute. You can chose 7 wines from their list. The ones I tasted were all good.

We bought a special deal coupon which gave a tasting and credit for purchase of wine. Upon arriving, we were happy to see a beautiful, old barn being kept up as the tasting room. Upon entering, we were greeted by a nice lady who we showed the coupon to and she set us up with a younger man who was... More

First thing that surprised us was that the road to get to the winery isn't paved. You're on a dirt road that isn't quite wide enough to let two cars pass for about 3 miles. The winery is small, but very picturesque. Has a great view with a beautiful outdoor space. The old barn houses the tasting room. It looks... More

Gorgeous views! Chuck, our tasting expert was knowledgeable and friendly. Tasting room was spacious and rustic. We liked that each of our group could make their own selections of 7 wines to taste. LaBarge BBQ onsite for a delicious lunch under the shady trees overlooking the valley. Follow the driving directions on their website for a better drive in to... More

I "won" a tasting and tour for 8 on a "silent auction." Friends "took off work" to go with us...for a scheduled appointment. No one to greet us...waited...waited...someone came in and said, "here is your glass of wine"...I could not even swallow it. Somehow...the tour never happened...what a waste of time and time off from work. Once was enough..... This... More

I took a group of friends and co-workers on a misty Saturday morning. Lew had arranged for a fellow local winemaker to give us a tour, and the tasting pouring a were generous enough to get sense of the wines. We brought food and picnicked outside with recent purchases, making a sweet start to a tasting day.

Knowledgeable staff guided us through a tasting in a wonderful rustic old barn. Impressed by wines, staff and atmosphere. This is definitely a rural location and the views are worth the trip. A great place to picnic and to take photos. We will return.

My husband and I went to Willowcroft with high expectations, considering this is the oldest vineyard in Northern VA. The view was beautiful and we were looking forward to enjoying a glass of wine outside on a picnic table. Unfortunately, that did not happen. We walked into the tasting room and right up to the bar, there was plenty of... More

One of our favorites! Enjoyed the tasting in a rustic barn but some of the wines one the website are only available to club members. Enjoyed the thorough explanation of the wines. Great variety of dry, sweet and dessert. Spectacular views with private outdoor seating. Oldest vineyard in Loudon county. Definitely recommend.
