Nice tasting room and had a good port wine, but the other tastings were just so-so. Looks like they had a decent gift shop and some sausages, cheeses and crackers to snack upon.

We were here about a week ago and did a tasting. This is our 3rd time here, and I am always impressed by how many of their wines we enjoy! They have a great selection, and the drive there is beautiful! Definitely worth a stop!

Very nice...found a nice, rich Chardonnay... But they do not give you a glass with the tasting. You have to pay an additional 5 on top of the $9 fee for the tasting to get a glass. (We like to collect and didn't fork out the additional out of principal ). But the wine was quite nice although we probably... More

This is a family owned and run business that has a nice tasting room and a very large indoor area for wine club members to sit and eat. There is a large porch area and good views of the mountains while relaxing with a bottle of one of their wines. They also have light fare such as various flatbreads &... More

I just visited Rappahannock for the 4th time, so I guess it's about time to review it! It's a very friendly, family owned and run business. All of the staff I've encountered have been friendly, knowledgable and enthusiastic about their wines. I've bought a good bit of wine over these visits, although today, I did not find one I felt... First visit - very impressed. The wine was good, there was a singer on the porch so we had a glass of wine and enjoyed the mountain views.

We went to Rappahannock without any expectations. What we found was a great little respite with very good food and wine. IT was not a normal meal but more of a larger version of fruit and cheese and wine. It was perfect for what we were looking for that afternoon. The service was good too.

I went with my sister and brother-in-law, who are members, for a wine tasting, followed by food and wine. The surroundings could not be more beautiful, with the mountains as a backdrop. We enjoyed the tasting flight, but found our hostess to be less than attentive. I have had better experiences doing tastings in Oregon. The wines were mostly blends.... More

Rappahanncok Cellars is simply the best winery in the state of Virginia. Hands down! Owned by a warm, welcoming, and generous family, we became club members five years ago and have been grateful ever since. Rappahannock consistently offers a wide selection of bold, rich red wines season after season. In addition, their whites offer sweeter, crisp notes that never cease... More
