While Rees Jones has made a hash of other resort courses (like the Equinox in Vt), his work here is good, perhaps because he did not do very much to the course -- he added 9, 10, and 18, and changed 1 and 2. (He may have changed 6 -- old 5 -- I don't remember, and I think his... More

A classic design with great conditions. Lots of variation in hole lengths and designs. A lot of fun!

My gift for my parents round of golf was "lost" and no one cared to accommodate to them or bother notifying me.

We had a nice time on a Saturday afternoon playing nine on the old course. We used a cart. We liked the views and the pace of play was good-- there was no one else in sight. We'd definitely golf here again.

Course is in excellent condition. No water hazards which is a plus. Greens are fairly fast. Folks in the clubhouse very helpful.

It was cold and very windy the day we played. The course was in great shape and the greens putted true. Be very careful with a downhill putt!

Golfers (which I am not) love it, but for the rest of us, riding or walking the course is worth it for the beauty. It's magnificently landscaped.

We played the Old Course 10/21. We loved it! We were the first out, so had the course to ourselves. There were some truly amazing views of the mountains, hotel and golf holes. We found the course to be challenging, but fair. We both played well and had a lot of fun. The staff associated with the golf course were... More

Wonderful course. Don't let others just play ahead of you without asking. They tend to let just anyone pop on and off the course with no marshall!

Billed as the oldest continuously played golf course in America. Unusual tract filled with 3 and 5 pars. Groundskeepers could be more forgiving by opening up the fairways and lowering the nasty rough. Beautiful and fun to play more than once.
