This cruise took us into Hampton Harbor and the Chesapeake Bay, and every minute was fascinating. We sailed past the naval station at Norfolk, then out to Ft. Wool, while our narrator, Jim, took us on a journey with stories and anecdotes that spanned Revolutionary times, the Civil Way, and modern warfare. We even saw a nuclear sub being escorted... More

Absolutely great trip. Satisfied my husband's interest in history, and my interest in a great boat ride. Our narrator Mike was wonderful. Shared lots of history about the area but not boring at all (even for a non history buff like me). Recommend the trip highly.

My mom came to visit and we thought we'd try this. I wasn't so sure how much I'd like it, but I have to say, these guys did a fantastic job! There were two "narrator/hosts" both of whom had incredible encyclopedic knowledge of modern naval ships and aircraft. One did most of the narration on our trip while the other... More

Weather was perfect for our 3 hour cruise. Guide was very knowledgeable: he made the history around us come alive with tales of events ranging from Edward Teach (better known as Blackbeard, the Pirate) to recent current events involving aircraft carriers and destroyer ships we saw along the way. Weather even permitted a stop at an island near the mouth... More

Love this cruise experience. Narrators are knowledgable and it is terrific to share the history and beauty of our area with friends from out-of-town. Very good value for the price!!

We were part of a private group who had a simple pasta dinner buffet on the Miss Hampton II cruise ... and boy was it fun. Our tour narrator was a guy named David and he know a LOT about the ships of the Naval Station Newport. And he will challenge you to challenge him ... don't do it. We... More

What a fun and entertaining tour! We just moved to the area from the Midwest and we learned so much about the local history from Mark, the awesome and entertaining narrator! Highly recommend!

This cruise was very enjoyable. The host was very knowledgeable and the staff was friendly and courteous. It was a nice bread from walking all the historical sites in this area.

This is a three hour tour that hits the Hampton area. The tour includes an on-going commentary of the area history (our guy was Jim), and details for each and every Naval ship currently at the shipyards - the largest in the world. Good to see our naval vessels up close and hear about what their uses were for. We... More
