This is a great way to spend the day. Spring, summer and fall!! Just forgot to review earlier! The guides are so knowledgeable about all the Navy ships, the history of the area and the visit to Ft. Wool is especially interesting. The boat is handicap accessible. Very comfortable ride leaving right from downtown Hampton. I great way to show... More

We went to relax. I think they talked too much during it though pointing out stuff. I would've liked to hear about half of it! LOL You get to see the Chesapeake Bay such as it is. You can see Up to Fort Monroe, and you get off on that little island called Fort Wool and can walk around which... More

My wife and I took the 3 hour cruise on the Miss Hampton II. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Our tour took us past the Navy fleet, where our guide gave us a great deal of information about all of the ships in port. We see the carriers and other ships as we cross the HRBT, but seeing... Amazing 3 hr tour of the Chesapeke Bay. Our tour guide was friendly, charming, and extremely knowledgeable of the area and its long history, including the massive naval base and tbe ships in the harbor. The entire staff of 4 was pleasant, layed back and very easy to talk to. The boat was not crowded, we were able to walk... More

We took this cruise on the only chilly day of our vacation, but we still really enjoyed it! The tour guide was very informative and explain what we were seeing in detail. He spoke of the history of the area, which was very interesting.

We had a great time in the harbor today. Beautiful weather, very good tour guide, lots of history and naval vessels. This was one of the best little tours we've ever taken. Our tour guide Jim was a wealth of information. It's a great way to spend a few hours out on the water.

From first meeting a crew member who gave us advise on "how to avoid sea sickness" (funny) to the exit down the ramp the crew was outstanding. The narrator was thorough in his sharing the history of the island to his descriptions of the ships and security in the naval base and he was heard, even for those of us... More

Good overview of the Hampton Harbor. Tour includes a stop at Fort Wool and descriptions of virtually every Navy ship in port and aircraft flying overhead. Trip from the Navy base back to harbor includes a full description of the battle of the ironclads. Everyone should cost $22 as there is a senior/AAA/coupon discount. Bring sunscreen, especially for top deck... More
