This museum was awesome. There were many interactive exhibits that adults, teenagers and children liked. They had great space exhibits as well as aeronautical. One aviation buff in our group liked it better than the Smithsonian.

I visited this museum with my wife and kids, and we got free admission with a reciprocal ASTC membership. This museum was larger than we expected, with dozens of planes and space artifacts on display, including a real Apollo command module which had been to moon orbit and back. Some electronic displays were not working, but there was more than... More

This museum is great for all ages. Tons of planes and space exhibits. Lots of simulators for the kids, planes to crawl around in, etc. They have a reciprocal agreement with Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh so we got in for free - score! Make sure to check if you have a museum membership in your town.

We came here for our first time on a cloudy day when visiting Virginia Beach. We had a lot of fun on the flight simulator ride and looking at the planes. We learned a lot of interesting facts when playing fun games and watching cool videos. We had a lot of fun and can't wait to visit here again when visiting... More

There were several interesting things to see but many of the interactive displays were not working. The museum has deteriorated since we visited a few years ago. It really needs a facelift and the maintenance crew should pay more attention to keeping the electronics working. The food in the snack bar was good and not overpriced for this venue. There... More

We visited on a day that happened to have several groups of children from camps there. Was a little busy with all those kids there. They have several planes hanging up high and lots of information and hands on exhibits on display. Several of them were not working sadly. We saw some very cool things and got lots of info.... More

During this visit - NASA had a STEM program with lots of hands on things to do it was well organized and fun. The IMAX to was great. The snack area a little over priced - staff towards the end of the day did not care to much and even to the point the had mixed up soda lines with... More

This was a fun visit for the whole family. There were several exhibits that weren't working though. That said, there was enough to look at / keep us interested for a few hours. They have several cool military airplanes on display. They have a full size DC-9 plane that you can go inside and the kids can sit in the... More

None of the displays work, not that clean, expensive, biggest waste of money you can have more fun looking at the free airplanes at air power park
