Lush, expansive fields surround this quaint establishment, setting the tone for a relaxing experience the second you drive up. When we stepped into the tasting room, we entered a cozy space flanked by a giant wall of windows that gave a near panoramic view of rolling fields of green produce and sunny skies. Jazz music filled the room. The winemaker... More

This is a small winery/vineyard with great care and pride in their product. They do a lot of organic process in their care of the vineyard.

Fabulous tasting room with a view. Take a lunch and picnic with a view. Charming and warm hosts, comfortable but classy. One of my favorite spots to take visitors and their dogs and their kids. Room to run! My favorite winery for the wine and the atmosphere!

Visited Hague Winery on a Sunday in June and were the only ones there. A shame, because this place is a real gem. The tasting room is "homey," to be kind, though the farm is picturesque. But, that's not the point. It's about the wine. And the wines here are very good. Excellent chardonel, even though I'm not usually partial... More

We've been going to several Virginia wineries for many years, but somehow we always missed this one. We went there on Memorial Day and were happy to find that it was open. The tasting room itself is small, but the grounds are lovely and our friendly server, Barbara, was knowledgeable about every aspect of the wines sold here. They have... More

Hague isn't too impressive as your driving up, and basically looks like an old barn. The tasting room is very plain, but they have a nice gift shop area and the patio area is very nice. The elderly gentleman who runs the place is very nice, and the wines were pretty good. Worth a visit if your up in the... More

Inexpensive wines and tastings but very good for the money. No real facilities to sit and drink a glass of wine. Just a tasting room. You're in and out of the tastings in 10 minutes. Knowledgeable staff.

This is the best vineyard on the east coast. Wonderful tasting wines that will make your tastebuds sing! I don't even like wine, but this is more like ambrosia.
