We are a family-owned and operated farm winery, located just north of Richmond VA. A refreshing change from the ordinary! Our staff serves a tasting of wines from whites to delicious reds and dessert wines in a tranquil country setting. Enjoy a picnic on our beautifully landscaped patio or capture the view from the terrace. James Batterson, winemaker, creates all wines from Virginia grown grapes.

A group of us went over after BBQ in town and I completely forgot to call ahead as we were 9 people. They could not have been nicer. Took us to the private tasting room and put up with our antics. Now granted I realize that cant happen on a busy day but we were very happy. Faith and Jimmy... More

Went Friday night for a tasting and to hear music. Wine was awesome. We drank five bottles there. 😃 and took one home. The only negative was the food trucks were so loud and placed where you can't see the music or hear it due to the noise of them. The seating in the food court area was not arranged... More

We had an excellent time tasting 15 different wines which is the most we have ever tasted at any winery we've been to, it was awesome! We especially loved the Rad Red so we bought a bottle and drank some while sitting out on the stone deck they have outside. There are several areas outside to relax. We also bought... More

The wines are descent, but the vibe is really what is nice. The grounds are lovely and they often have live music! Worth a visit and a tasting if you are in the area! They even have a playground for the kids. Family friendly!

We did not expect this experience at a winery sitting on Route 1. My wife and I visited on Monday, August 17, our wedding anniversary, and enjoyed a relaxing celebration tasting. There are no vineyards adjacent to the tasting room building. They're in Montpellier several miles away, but that did not detract from the charming ambience. Tables with chairs, as... More

There was a wedding going on while we were here tasting, so the winery was admittedly busy. We had a tasting - of average wines (none sweet). It was a fine experience, nothing noteworthy, honestly.

Came out on Friday for a tasting and music in the garden. Some folks brought picnic dinners while others, like us, bought from the food trucks. The wine, food and music were all good. I don't claim to be terribly knowledgeable about wine but we found several we liked. A large tent with tables and chairs kept us dry from... More

Great selection of wines and all are tasted for only $4.75 per person(we had 12 reds and whites total)...wonderful hostess (? Theresa) and Alexander, both who were very well versed on their wines; other wineries in the area, etc. No question was too unimportant for them to answer! It is in an old home well back from the busy road;... More

Great price. Awesome wine tasting. Even joined the really affordable wine club. Picking up my next order this weekend. Christmas gift buying will be easy this year.
