Description: Great wines, fantastic service, knowledgeable owners, educational visit...
Great wines, fantastic service, knowledgeable owners, educational visit. First stop on any winetasting trip in the northern Shenandoah Valley, VA MUST include the Glen Manor Vineyards. Bag a picnic lunch, purchase a top-quality wine from these folks, and spend an hour or two on the grounds. You will not be disappointed! PS. Stop at the Elements Restaurant in Front Royal for your lunch-to-go. The gourmet food pairs nicely with all of Glen Manor's selections.

On the day we went, someone who normally works the fields was doing the pouring. She was a bit overwhelmed but we learned a lot from her. The tasting price was a little unexpected ($9) but not regrettable for the quality of the wine tasted.

We have been coming here for nearly a year and wanted to update our review. We find it very impressive when we go to a place, any place and the service is still the same the 6th time as it was the first time - EXCELLENT! The tasting room is run by the winemaker's wife and she loves telling each... More

Great relaxing setting, just below the Skyline Drive. A wonderful place to sit, relax and enjoy wine. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, make you feel at home. Glen Manor delivers with one of the best wine offerings in Virginia. No matter what you taste, you will not be disappointed (unless your a sweet wine drinker). By far the best... More

Jeff White is a master at his craft. The wine selection is well grounded. My favorite is the Cabernet Franc, but you can't go wrong with his product. Wife Kelly usually greets you as you enter. Once you have been there, she remembers your name. A small facility, honoring up to six guests in a group. Like several vineyards in... More

A quick stop at the end of the day to try a few wines. The mountain views were beautiful. It was a rainy day so everyone was inside. It was pretty loud. The inside was very small. Wines were good.

We came here on a Friday afternoon in the winter and had a wonderful time. We were even able to meet with the owner of the vineyard and hear some great stories about the local history. The wines are excellent and they even have local artists display their work. They have an excellent view of the mountain and a nice... More

This beautiful farm-turned vineyard is set against Shenandoah National Park, a few minutes from Front Royal on a lovely country road. The grounds, with scattered groups of chairs for sitting (and sipping) are spectacular. Of course, the primary reason to go is the wine, which simply is among the best produced in Virginia today. A perfect day trip from DC... More

Go! You will not be dissapointed (unless peehaps the place is simply overwhelmed by too many people!) Beautiful classic french or italian countryside setting with classic french style wines. The staff is very knowledgeable (one or both owners frequently being behind the serving station) and are extremely friendly and appreciative of their customers. Great views of Skyline Drive.

A little gem of a winery tucked along the hillside in Northern Virginia. The setting was picturesque but the wines were a great surprise. It's a small family run operation that will only improve with age. Enjoyed our time there and look forward to going back.

We very much enjoyed our stop here. Clean, efficient and well run. The lady who helped us with our tasting was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning about their wines and pairings. It seems they cater to people who want to enjoy wine and learn, not just drink and move on to the next stop. Will be back!
