Located in the valley below Skyline Drive. After a day of pulling over every 3 miles to see the fabulous fall colors you tend to get thirsty. After a tasting we settled on a bottle to take out side to sit and look up at the vines and fall foliage. It was great, plan to go back next year.

We stopped at Glen Manor on our way back from Luray to DC. It was snowing when we arrived at this gem, tucked into the Blue Ridge Mountains with stunning views of not only the mountains, but you can also see Skyline Drive not to far above. The farm has been family-owned for four generations and is a beautiful plot... More

The tasting room is a little out of the way, but well worth the drive. Nestled below Skyline Drive, you can't beat the views and the vineyard reminds me of the vineyards along the Rhine in Germany, they dot the hillside. We were served by the vintners wife, very personable and informative. We enjoyed all of their reds and their... More

This was recommended to us by friends. The owner's wife was behind the counter, and she was friendly and informative. (Get her foccacia recipe. It is yummy!) The backdrop is lovely, and we enjoyed sitting out on the back deck and looking up at the vineyards, the changing leaves, and the Skyline Drive. The wine isn't cheap, but it's good... More

The place was a little busy but the owner's wife was very informative and attentive, even with so many people mingling about. She was finishing up another patron's tasting/wine purchase while starting ours but she transitioned between us like a pro. The wines were very good and we wound up purchasing 3 bottles. The property is small but very nice.... More

Lovely building, pleasant owner run tasting. Lots of great information about the wine. Due to type of production, wine is a little high priced for just hanging out drinking. I purchased for fine dining.

I love the wines at Glen Manor. There are only a small handful of wineries in VA that are my hands down go to, and this is one of them. Jeff is often manning the tasting room, and he is the winemaker. Very nice gentleman and his wife is absolutely adorable! I've gone there several times and also with friends.... More

Start with " homegrown" grapes, nothing shipped in, add views of Skyline Drive and there you have it! Jeff's wines are ready to serve when he pours. He doesn't rush his wines and the patience shows. This winery is truly family owned and worked. I've been there tasting and you can see Jeff up working the vines. His wife was... More

Glen Manor is a small winery located directly below Skyline Drive, just outside of Front Royal. We were camping in the area, saw a sign for the winery, and decided to give a try on our way home. I loved the sign at the entrance that stated, "No more than six people in a group for tasting." That gives you... More

Beautiful location. Definitely worth the trip. All of us liked the wines. Loved the hospitality and enjoyed this gem off the beaten path.
