Thyis former railway station has been turned into a great site of information for this town. Besides having knowledgeable. informed, friendly, helpful and outgoing staff this place beisides its numerous pamphlets plus books was good to explore. They had a nice little museum to look at as well. They even had a trolly stop to explore this town so all... More

We were staying in Front Royal for the night on Saturday, so we stopped by the visitor's center on Saturday afternoon. Don was the first person who greeted us and gave us a tour of the center and different sections/brochures. We asked him questions and he was extremely knowledgable - plus, had a great sense of humor : ) He... More

Really lovely young lady gave us loads of information about the area, what to do, where to go and even discount vouchers. Top class and superb service!

I had about 5 hours to explore Skyline Drive. I was returning to Front Royal and wanted to be out of the park before dusk. I received very helpful advice from the Visitor's Center.

Very friendly. They have every brochure and map known to man. The clerk even offered me free travel maps for other states! These are normally $6-$7 each. Handy location downtown.

I forget the gents name, but, wow, was he a wealth of information. we were headed to tour Patsy Cline's home and he suggested that we could visit the cemetery where she was buried, also. And, as hungry travelers lookin' for a good lunch, he told us about the Pedestrian Mall. thank you!!

Helpfull and friendly staff made this restored railroad station a real gem, and a great asset to the town of Front Royal. I even came away with a likely reason for the name "Front Royal". You'll need to visit to find out why!

I want to thank the Visitors Center in Front Royal for the warm welcome. Great folks and offered nice alternatives for site seeing. I wish the old train next to the visitors center would be turned into either a cafe car to dine in, or a wine tasting train car to try local wines and cheeses. This town is so... More

The visitor's center is smack-dab in the middle of a little down-town with a parking lot that winds around a little park. Once we found it, though, the staff was engaging and happy to help- one person walked us out the door to point out the restaurant we were interested in.

The first time I went in, no one at the counter even greeted us. The second time, when I was with a friend instead of my husband, one person offered a little information, but not much
