Beautiful building with wide range of wines to taste. Breathtaking scenery surrounds this winery. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lots of gift ideas. Plan on spending a few hours to make the most of everything available. Restaurant on the grounds but they were closed day we were there. Would definitely return when in the area again. Prices were reasonable.

Took part in a wine tasting before brunch and was introduced to several wines we had not tried. Ended up buying a case for my sister.

Very glad you were able to try some new wines during your visit. Thought you would like to know, we just had three new wines introduced last week...our Chambourcin Reserve 2012, our new red blend called Archival 1, and our White Sangria. Look for additional wines coming in October and December. Hope you can come back again soon and sample... More

My husband and I had a wonderful visit to the winery and enjoyed the tasting. The woman was very knowledgable and the wine was good. The location and building are beautiful.

Turning off the Parkway, you think another winding road until yo see the restaurant and winery. Set on a hill looking across the valley, you know you made the right choice to stop here. The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious items (shrimp and grits) either indoors or on the patio. Delicious! While waiting to be seated, look at... More

This was a beautiful setting for a winery, and the tour was really neat. Following that, was an informative tasting, so time well-spent. The wines were wonderful, and very hard to not to pack the trunk full of their wines!

We wanted to see one of the wineries in the area and this one is not to be missed. Once you've tasted the excellent wines, head over to the restaurant for some delicious food! You will not be disappointed!

The views are stunning and the location is so near to both Floyd and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Their gift shop has some very interesting and unique items. The restaurant has a variety of delicious entrees. Great side trip.

I have never been to a winery before so I don't have anything to compare this experience to but I did enjoy it. You must go to the cash register to purchase a ticket for the wine tasting. We had to figure this out on our own, would have been nice to have had this explained to us somehow. It... More

Enjoyed the winery, but wines are mediocre. Service wad okay, but not outstanding. Would return again, but wouldn't go out of our way to do so.

Andrew, We're very sorry you did not have an excellent experience while you were here. It's good to know you would return again. I would guess that you prefer the dryer wines and if that is the case, I hope you will give us another try after harvest. We have a new winemaker who has been making wines in France... More

The wines are good value for money and well made. We visited in terrible rain and didn't see anything of the outside, just a short walk round the wine storage room. Friendly staff but not as knowlegable as at some wineries.

Pat M, thank you for the review. It's always good to know where we need improvement. Our Tasting Room Manager has been notified about your concerns regarding the knowledge level of the front line staff and we will implement additional training to help improve their depth of knowledge about our wines. Very sorry about the weather while you were here.... More
