Got a chance to go here while visiting my sister. This is an old school house with 3 stories Full of fabric. Every floor, every room. There was a button room FULL of buttons of every kind. So much stuff to choose from. The prices were pretty steep though. Better bring a lot of money when shopping here.

If your wife is a seamstress, you might be here awhile. This unpretentious store has a huge selection of fabrics, notions, etc. Maybe not as up to date as Mood but, hey, this is SW Virginia. My wife (and I in tow) have been coming here for years. There is no other stores within 100 miles that have the selection... More

We took a road trip to check this store out, my mother is a fabric lover. She was a little disappointed. There were a huge selection of fabrics but on a lower end tier. Prices were average. Many of the bolts looked like they had been there for quite some time and the designs were dated. Not worth a road... More

I really enjoyed walking through each floor and just looking and touching all the different fabrics.

I loved this store. They have a wonderful mix of old and new fabrics with great prices. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to find so many wonderful fabrics that if I do nothing but sew for the next three years, I may come close to using up all the fabric I bought. If I... More

I have loved this place for years. Not only is it chock full of all kinds of fabric and accessories, but it's such a cool building, a relic from the past that I always greatly enjoy going there. Amazing trims for curtains, etc. I can't imagine what one reviewer gave it only 2 stars. So happy that this wonderful 'old'... More

I'm a quilter, so that is the kind of fabric I look for. There is some new mixed in, but you have to really look past the old to get to it...... I will say though, I enjoyed looking at the extensive selection of trims - not something I would normally buy, but it was fun to look at.

OK, it's our only fabric store, but as a costumer, I find people from all over piling fabrics and trim up for their fantastic creations. The formal room is just to die for. Do not bring your checkbook in there, just look, and feel... In the back building, I find bins of buttons, upholstery scraps, foam, carpet bits, boxes of... More
