Stopped here with a group visiting wineries in the area. Pros: The outdoor patio and deck areas were really beautiful, and when we got there an older gentleman who was very friendly greeted us. Cons: The tasting room isn't very inviting. It kind of feels like you are invading someone's 1989 kitchen. The woman pouring the wine seemed awkward and... More

The passion and the pride that the winemaker (who poured my tasting) has for his wines is evident, and the Reds deliver. I'll definitely go back.

Their website was a little misleading -- made it seem like this was a dog-friendly winery. Dogs are only allowed outdoors, however, so we unfortunately weren't able to stay as it was a pretty cold day. Seemed nice, but people should just be aware of this.

We have been to a number of vineyards to do wine tastings. The tasting room wasn't as fancy as some of the others we have been to but Willie made us feel like we were old friends. He was very informative about his wines and very proud of the medals he had won. He gave us suggestions on other attractions... More

Enjoyed tasting the wines even though none were outstanding. We even tried the blueberry wine. Not what we were expecting. It would be great to mix with lemonade during the summer. I didn't like the way I felt rushed while tasting. We weren't done with one before the staff was back to give us the next wine. The winery was... More

This is a beautiful vineyard but with a very small tasting room. The tasting area is set above a converted garage and it's like you're sitting in someone's kitchen and enjoying some wine. The wines are very good. Their chambourcin is amazing and they are known for their blueberry wine. The hummus and cheese plates were good, but nothing fancy.... More

Stopped there and shared a wine tasting with my wife. Tasting fees are reasonable with military discounts and you can keep your glass if you buy a bottle. We liked the Meriage, a blend of cab franc and chambourcin. We had a picnic on the grounds with a small grill and had a beautiful view of the Shenandoah Valley. If... More

We came by on a weekday as a small group (6 of us) and wanted to try a few wines. They only had 2 dry whites and we tasted both. Didn't really care for the chardonnay, so we went with the Viognier mixed (50/50) with Traminette. It was just OK. It was a little odd, as it felt like a... More

My husband and I stopped for a wine tasting. We were the only people there to taste when we arrived. We were greeted by a not so pleasant women, I think we interrupted her quiet day. She quickly said to us the tasting would be $7 each, did we still want to do the tasting? It was like we were... More

My Fiance' and I made a trip from Hagerstown to the Shenandoah Valley in January for a weekend getaway and stopped by Wolf Gap to pick up some used barrels to decorate for our wedding reception. Wolf Gap Willie braved a recent snow storm and frigid temps to get us to the storage barn, helped us load the barrels, then... More
