Good selection of award winning wines

This is an out of the way place but worth the trip. They age their red wines a little longer than others before they release them. This results is some much better quality reds.

My wife and I have been all over trying different wines from different wineries. Wolf Gap is a little bit out of the way but well worth the trip. If you try a any wine at all, make sure you have some of the Blueberry wine, it's downright amazing. The view from their deck is heavenly, my wife and I... More

This vineyard and winery has some of the friendliest people we have ever met! The tastings are held inside on a counter that stems off from their kitchen. While sipping on their delicious wines we were also engaged in great conversation with the owners and staff. After tasting their wines we bought an extra bottle to enjoy the view while... More

Another great winery in Edinburg. Great wines, nice tasting room. Beautiful vineyards with a nice deck to view of the mountains. Would highly recommend their wines. You can bring your own snacks in.

Annually my husband and I travel to Virginia for a vacation that includes visiting wineries. On our way south on 81 we detour off and visit Will and Diane at Wolf Gap Vineyard. This year we were unaware that the vineyard was only open on Saturday and Sunday during the winter. As we started to leave, Will pulled into the... More

Stopped here with a group visiting wineries in the area. Pros: The outdoor patio and deck areas were really beautiful, and when we got there an older gentleman who was very friendly greeted us. Cons: The tasting room isn't very inviting. It kind of feels like you are invading someone's 1989 kitchen. The woman pouring the wine seemed awkward and... More

The passion and the pride that the winemaker (who poured my tasting) has for his wines is evident, and the Reds deliver. I'll definitely go back.

Their website was a little misleading -- made it seem like this was a dog-friendly winery. Dogs are only allowed outdoors, however, so we unfortunately weren't able to stay as it was a pretty cold day. Seemed nice, but people should just be aware of this.

We have been to a number of vineyards to do wine tastings. The tasting room wasn't as fancy as some of the others we have been to but Willie made us feel like we were old friends. He was very informative about his wines and very proud of the medals he had won. He gave us suggestions on other attractions... More
