This would have to be one of the best aircraft & space museums on the planet. This has interests or the entire family and you could easily spend a full day there. Free entry once you pay for parking $15.00

Escorted 100 WWII and Korean war Vets (Honor Flight) to this Museum. The guides were great. The planes were super. The F-86 was really an emotional visit for our Korean Vets.

This was the first time visting a Smithsonian. I am a female and I loved looking at all the different planes and being able to ask the volunteers information about the different planes. The best was the Discovery Space Shuttle.

Visited the museum at Dulles Airport in early April 2013. It was a wonderful experience. Parking costs fifteen dollars but admission is free. If you have even a mild interest in aviation and/or space exploration, this is a must-visit museum. Absolutely first-class layout, displays and staff.
