A nice brewery

Nice selection of seasonal and year round brews. Lots of room, outdoor seating and a bean bag toss. No food but a food truck was on site.

Great beer but poor location...no views, the patio was on a cemented area outside the complex, one food truck parked outside (which rotates), small TV, etc. But, the beer was awesome and we purchased some to take with us.

This Taproom is a nice, comfortable room (with a section for some outside seating and rotating food trucks). You felt the vibe of the brewery in the room, and the beer was nice to my tastes

Best stouts of the day at this one. The lacrosse game was on which made up for the blah views. Food truck was ok if you like cheese wiz on your nachos. After four other breweries we got past the cheese wiz pretty easy. Try the Rooster stout you will not regret.

This was the second stop on my vineyard/brewery crawl whilst in Virginia last week and I really enjoyed the place. It was a Friday afternoon and it was super laid back and the beer was great. I didn't realize there were places like this that allowed you to bring your own food so I thought that was very interesting and... More

The beer here is very tasty. They do not serve food but you may bring your own. They even have a couple of menus that you can call in a delivery order from if you would like. The servers are very friendly and helpful.

We came out here for a round of drinks while staying in nearby Charlottesville. Definitely worth the trip. Very nice space, and there was a great selection of beers with a couple different flights available. Hope to start seeing more of their offerings in the NC area.

Starr Hill has been a favorite brewery of mine for a while. They have a newish tap room and they continue to produce amazing, unique, and flavorful beers. The bartender seemed a bit distracted when we stopped by but he was helpful anyway. The ambiance is casual and it's just a fun place to spend an afternoon. I have been... More

My husband and I have spent a lot of time in Charlottesville but decided to do some things this past weekend that we haven't done before. We had tried Starr Hill's beers (grocery store purchases) and thought it would be a fun change of pace for a January Saturday afternoon. The drive from close to the University to Crozet was... More

This was our last stop on our three stop winery tour and it was great. We were a large group - 15 people 25-30 - and they made sure that there were tables reserved for our large group. We went on an interesting tour of the brewery and afterwards we got a generous tasting sampler of all of the delicious... More
