Great venue for a wedding

We went to a wedding here in the fall and it was gorgeous. There was a playground next to where the ceremony and reception were held, so the kids had a blast.

My friends and I had a fun time at this park last year. This was my very first time camping as an adult and I enjoyed every moment of it. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, the park was gorgeous! It did rain at night and became very windy and cold but despite that we enjoyed ourselves and... More

Was here for a hour visit to check out the cabins for a possible future stay. Park is quiet and lot's of things to do relating to the outdoors. .Besides walking trails, .there are places to camp. There is a Visitor Centre along with a Learning Centre to learn about nature. I see in one of the..other reviews people complaining... More

I wrote this review back in July 2015 after our trip but somehow it remained as a draft and did not get published so here it is: After reading a ton of reviews, I was surprised to find this park to be much more than I expected. Never-mind the bad reviews, they are either very old or the folks writing... More

I love all the families and picnics that are going on whenever we visit. Enough beach and bay to enjoy swimming without the extra long drive to the ocean. Park allows leashed pets and is kept clean by the staff. Boat rentals, camping, snack bar, swimming pool, changing rooms in season. Free parking all year! We even got to see... More

We camped in C, which is much more private than A or B. Clean sites but the bathroom is filthy. They do clean once a day but not the shower area - bring flip flops. Nice warm water, though. Most campers are polite but there's always a few who think they're the only ones in the park. After midnight we... More

Camped recently, overall the park is great, plenty of trails of varying length. They have a beach area, pool and kayak rentals. We were looking forward to a quiet night out camping- that is where this went down hill fast. Signs and postings everywhere states no more than 6 people at a site and quiet hours after 10pm. I hate... More

My Mom and i popped in here for a craft beer and a dozen oysters for an early evening snack, sans kids . Very knowledgeable server on all the beers offered and a split order of Rockefeller and a parmesan hot sauce blend. Outstanding!!.if you love oysters, cooked or raw..go here for a great taste. Yummm

I have to say this one of the prettiest state parks that I have traveled. It ranks as one of my favorites from this point. We stayed in Campground A, site 6. We have a 28 foot travel trailer and a Dodge 3500 crew cab, 8ft bed. At first I was not crazy about the roadside pull-through sites, but it... More

I love this place. I come by as often as I can to visit their pool and do some grilling on the beach. This is definitely one of the nicest state parks that I personally know of. They have an Olympic swimming pool which is outdoors and right next to a beach. They also have small boat rentals like paddle... More
