By far the best public course close to Washington DC but still a thirty minute drive from downtown (sans traffic). Freddy Couples design. Completely wooded except for clubhouse and 1 home. Civil war encampments, water, wildlife. Excellent course, 5 sets of tees. Full service and a lot of sponsored tournaments. Wish fees would drop but it's always a treat to play here.
