A well kept place to exercise

This trail is well maintained, spacious, some nice views along the way too. It is hilly in spots but the inclines are modest and slow. A nice place to get away to.

This trail was really nice for a leisure bike stroll even on a hot day. The trail is very shady in the middle after getting away from mall area in Christianburg. Recommend. Parking behind Dicks sporting Goods trail head instead of the community center. A fair amount of benches , but only one place for restrooms at mile marker 4... More

Always enjoy this trail because it can actually take you to useful places--the Blacksburg library branch, a shopping mall, or a short walk off the trail to the Farmer's market. It is always in use, both by serious bikers and kids on trikes as well as walkers and runners of all ages.

Love the Huckleberry Trail! A favorite place to run. Safe, very few places where you have to cross a street and fair amount that is covered by trees. Nice rolling hills in places. Paved the whole way. You can get a nice long run in by going out and back. They have recently expanded a few areas which is nice.... More

This trail takes you through farms and wooded areas, open fields and shows off the beauty and country atmosphere in Blacksburg. I enjoyed running/walking through here!

While there are a couple steeper hills, they aren't too bad and overall, this rail trail is very nice. There is a side attraction of coal mining displayed and they have completed an extension bridge at the mall end of the trail. This trail traverses active railroad tracks by a nice wooden bridge. Trail is paved and well maintained,

I chose this trail for convenience as it had an entrance point near my hotel. I was skeptical about scenery because I entered from behind a mall but wow, it was beautiful. I quickly found myself surrounded by nature without a building in site. The trail is paved and well trafficked but did not feel crowded. Lovely!

I love Huckleberry Trail! It is beautiful at any season. Perfect for running/jogging. It has flat and hilly parts so you can do whatever there. It is also has fear amount of benches, so if you are tired you can have a rest. Recommend to visit it, if you haven't been there yet!

I love to get outside and the Huckleberry is the perfect location for a quick. If I had a bike it'd be great for that too.

It's so cool to have a walking trail through Cburg and Bburg! For fitness buffs you can't beat the Huckleberry Trail. Ask for more info and a map at the front desk!
