Our family took a ride with Spider on our last day there. He is so funny and enjoyable to talk to. He has tons of knowledge about the island and does his very best to get you a great photo of the wild ponies. Book early tho, he is a busy man, and you don't want to miss his tour.... More

Captain Spider married me and my now husband this past Friday, then took us on a boat tour of the island. He was very easy to work with, went out of his way to make sure our ceremony and sunset tour was exactly what we wanted, and provided history of the island. He made our wedding day very special, and... More

We knew only the basics of Chincoteague from reading the book "Misty of Chincoteague" when my son was in elementary school. We thought it would be fun to see the wild horses since we were passing through on our family vacation. This pontoon tour around the island was perfect! We learned a lot about the history of the island and... More

Spider went above + beyond on our tour of the islands. He gave us so much detail + history about the islands that we learned so much. It was a true leisure trip with the added pleasure of seeing Dolphins + wild ponies. He went where the other cruises didn't. Recommend the evening cruise. 2 hours of joy. Definitely would... More

You will love Capt Spider and his great tour all the way around Chincoteague. He only has room for 6 people, so book early & be on time! He clearly loves the island, wildlife and history of the area. And he's not scarey like his name would suggest!

we had a Friday morning boat tour, beautiful weather and saw eagles, herons and the horses....but no dolphins or turtles...shucks. The tour was still great with lots of history and a comfy boat. Highly recommend

He pointing out various places of interest such a local landmarks with historical insights, osprey nests, eagles perched on trees, ponies on Assateague Island, Wallops Island... More

Great sight seeing tour by Capt. Spider. He was very knowledgeable about the Island, it's begining, it's stories and he knows were to find the wild ponies for you. It is a 2 hour tour but he extends it to find the wild ponies for you. Also he knows the spots for great pictues and a great spot to take... More
