We were on Spider's 10AM trip several days ago. This was the highlight of our time on Chincoteague. He was a gentleman, knowledgeable about the island, and seemed to enjoy sharing his stories. We saw the ponies on three separate occasions, osprey with hatchlings, eagles, dolphins, and other water fowl. You go around the entire island of Chincoteague. Spider only... More

We went to see the pony swim with Spider. We had an awesome view and he was great company. We went a few years ago but we would definately go with Spider the next time. We have saved his business card not something we would normally do.

My two daughters, wife and I had a fantastic time exploring the beauty of this area. Captain Spider was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and professional. He knew the answer to all our questions and was able to point out tons of wildlife and made sure we were able to get as close as possible to the ponies. He is one of... More

We were able to make reservations the day before which was great and had only two other people booked on the tour. Captain Spider was very upfront when we asked for the sunset tour and he said due to the foretasted water conditions (was right when Hurricane Arthur was pushing wind and high surf to the area) there was a... We took a sunset cruise with Captain Spider and wound up having a private tour on his comfortable boat. The tour was relaxing and we learned much about Chincoteague and Assateague Islands. The Captain was very thorough and really tried to show us the various wildlife, and was a pleasure to be with for the two hour journey. We would... More

We visited the island for just a couple of days and this tour was definitely one of the highlights. Captain Spider was professional, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to make sure his passengers got the tour they hoped for. He knows where to look for the wildlife and works hard to make sure you see... More

Me and my fiancé wanted to go out on a tour. We chose Spiders and had an amazing time. We saw at least 20 ponies, very close up. Lots of birds and water life. The tour started at 1:15 and ended at 3:30. Money well spent, highly recommended!!😃😃

Captain Spider was very attentive to making sure that everyone saw what they were hoping to see and knowledgeable about the history of the area . There were two birders on our trip looking for good photo ops and we wanted to see the ponies. He seems to know where the local wildlife usually showed up. We saw an eagle,... More

Since the government shutdown caused Assateague to be closed to the public, we had to find another way to view the island. Despite the wind and choppy water we had an enjoyable time.

Captain Spider was the celebrant at our wedding on Assateague Beach. We followed this with a sunset cruise on his boat and it was wonderful. Spider provided the history of the island and the area. He found dolphins, Bald Eagles, ponies and lots of other wild-life. Our photos came out great and we had a wonderful memorable time.
