This cruise should not be missed. The Capt. is flexible and has interesting information to share. He took us to all the prime viewing spots which increased the odds that we would see amazing wildlife! We did and the oyster farm tour was interesting as well! My son, Charles, and I had a wonderful time! more

We started our time on Chincoteague with a cruise with Capt. Charlie and it was perfect! He was very accomodating to my being a wheelchair user and also to my youngest daughter's desire to see the ponies on Assateague. Not only was the cruise itself fun and informative, his knowledge of the area and sites was a plus to us... more

The weather, scenery and boat cruise were PRICELESS! Couldn't have asked for anything else. Ok, maybe a Margaretta blender and an extra couple of hours:) For those looking for a nice family oriented, affordable, history of the Island boat tour then this is the cruise to go on. If you are into photography, like our group, then you've picked the... more

I had a wonderful time while in Chincoteague. Capt. Charlie was wonderful, he told us some of the history of Chincoteague and was very good with all of us and our cameras. He stopped when we wanted and he got us as close as possible to the island to view the horses. I would recommend this cruise to anyone going... more

My wife and I have been visiting Chincoteague and Assateague Islands for over 10 years during all seasons of the year and thought we had seen it all until we took Capt. Charlie's cruise today. He showed us the Islands up close and personal. My own mission was some photo ops and Charlie was most accomodating, stopping the boat when... more

I have been wanting to go to Chincoteague for years now and I finally made it with a group of fellow photography enthusiasts. We all booked this tour with Capt. Charlie so we could get some photos and learn a little about the island. As a seventh generation "Chincoteaguer" Charlie knows everything there is to know about the area, and... more

Recently my husband and I got away on a "kid free" weekend, as all you parents know that almost never happens. We spent time in assateague and exploring chincoteague, but wanted something more. We called the number on the Chincoteague Cruises brochure after reading that Captain Charlie once served in the Coast Guard. I left a message and received a... more

Capt Charlie gave a great tour and history of the island. He has great respect for his guests and nature. He answered all our questions. Got to see the ponies as close as he could get. He had hoped the dolphins would come up to the boat, but they weren't there on our particular excursion. Well worth the time to... more

Best boat tour ever....Captain Charlie took my family of 5 on a 2 hour cruise around Chincoteague Island inland waterways on Monday, 22 June 2009. From the moment he met us at dockside it was a wonderful and family friendly experience! His concern for safety, comfort, and education made the trip the best we could have ever hoped for with... more

The pamphlet for Chincoteague Cruises caught my eye because if the Bible verse on the back reminding me to thank God for the beauty around and for the opportunity to have a family vacation! There was also a "kid friendly" tone to the pamphlet. Captain Charlie was answering calls the week we were there and seemed very genuine about his... more
