Awesome! We booked a sunset wildlife cruise aboard the (6-passenger) pontoon boat mid-June. It was wonderful experience. I recommend it for "kids of any age". Aside from a magical sunset, we saw egrets, herons, terns, ducks, geese, ospreys, hawks, cormorants, turtles, deer and the island famous wild ponies and their newly born young ones. It was a very comfortable, fast... More

This company was amazing! We started out at the office and the really friendly lady (whose name escapes me at the moment) was so nice and welcoming. The captain and his first mate were so knowledgeable and thorough with their explanations and willingness to stop and explore every corner of the area. I would recommend this cruise to anyone visiting... More

This was our second year taking a sunset cruise with Daisey Island Cruises. Our captain, again this year was Fred, and it was wonderful! He was very friendly , knowledgeable and kind to my 6 year old son. We saw ponies, 2 bald eagles, many other bird species and loads of Dolphins !! It's well worth a visit!

Two wonderful cruises with Captain Fred ...we are going to have to pull out all the stops for your third cruise. I'm sure that Captain Fred will be up for the adventure, after all; third time is a charm! Thank you for posting a great review ..I will be sure to show it to the Captain! More

We took our three girls on a morning cruise. (9, 4, 2yr old). We ended up on a boat by ourselves and our guide was Bill. What a wonderful time we had! He was so good about talking to the kids and adults about things he thought would be interesting to them .. He answered all our questions - was... More

Sooo we may have new Captain in the making! Awesome! I am extremely pleased that everyone had a great time and that there were "TONS" of ponies. It appears your family went home with a priceless souvenir ...memories of cruising the waters of Chincoteague Island; with Captain Bill. More

Every aspect of this experience was excellent. I first booked online, then had company that wanted to join us. The receptionist/office assistant was extremely helpful in adding our guests. Upon arrival at the slip, we were greeted by Captain Bill and Mate Hunter and made to feel most welcome. After the safety briefing, we were underway for a great adventure.... More

We opted for the smaller, more private boat. Our tour was everything we hoped for. We saw ponies, and so much more. The lighthouse. An eagle. Ibis, terns, pelicans, osprey. But the best part was that our captain was friendly and informative, without sounding like a pre-recorded or memorized spiel. He had books and photographs, to better explain the local... More

There is no "faking it" with our Captains....they are the best! I always try to let them read the great reviews that they get to keep them inspired and well... make them blush. They truly love seeing "faces light up" when passengers experience the magic of our islands. Thank you for sharing your experience while cruising with us! We hope... More

We went for our cruise last night and got an informative narrative of the island's history as well as educational comments on the wildlife along the way. The Dolphins were plentiful and playful and we got to watch a bald eagle take flight and land in the trees. Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, the sunset hid behind the clouds... More

Thanks for the wonderful review of Daisey's Island Cruises! We try our utmost to make our cruises fun relaxing and informative: regardless of the wildlife as they do not always show up for work on time..haha. Glad the dolphins received our message and did their job! We look forward to having you cruises with us again in the future. More

We took the tour with our granddaughter. We all enjoyed it! Because of weather we were changed to another, larger boat to make it more comfortable. Even though we had to go to a different location the staff was apologetic and accommodating. The difference in price was credited right away. The tour was fantastic. We saw ospreys, eagles and lots... More

Thank you for the very nice review of Daisey's island Cruises. It pleases me to hear that you were both flexible in changing boats and that you saw lots of wildlife during your cruise. What a great memory your granddaughter will always have of Chincoteague Island and its nice that you were a part of that memory. More

My husband and I enjoyed our sunset cruise. Our captain was very informative. We enjoyed listening to the vast history he shared. He even had pictures to show of the old town that used to be around the lighthouse. Even though much of the wildlife was in hiding, we saw plenty of birds, interesting sights and had a wonderful time.

Sometimes it is just about cruising around and smelling the salt. I am happy that you were able to enjoy the cruise even though the wildlife were in hiding. Thank you for sharing! We hope you get the chance to come cruise again in the future. More

Everything you could hope for. Saw horses, dolphins, all kinds of birds including osprey and even a terrapin walking around on the dock. Captains were very friendly and informative. Managed to get a seven year old girl and two year old boy/girl twins all smiling and having fun at the same time. Great job.

I have to admit I was happy that the wildlife co-operated but...I was beyond thrilled that we put a smile on the kids faces! That really makes it all worth while. Thank you for sharing. More
