Me, my sister and my best friend all went on a sunset cruise on August 24. It was what made the weekend. We got 10 unplanned minutes viewing the dolphins and my sister had never seen them in the wild. It was magical. The captain and mate were funny and informative. The boat trip was smooth and they accommodated those... More

We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Leonard, the hospitable owner who accommodated our family when a storm cancelled our trip. We got to go the following morning before the end of our vacation. My husband and I, with our kids (10, 7, and 4), got to see ponies on Assateague, bald eagles, an osprey chick in its nest, and... More

My friends and I are horse fanatics and have always wanted to see the Chincoteague Pony Swim. On a whim we organized ourselves and booked some space with Daisey's Island Cruises to watch the event. This was the BEST THING we could have done! Capt Daisey was very welcoming and worked with us to figure out the best time to... More

My husband and I took an afternoon tour with Captain Sandy. She is a native of Chincoteague and a wealth of information. She supplied history of the islands and the ponies, and answered all our questions. We went to 2 spots where we could see the ponies grazing. We saw several ospreys and eagles, then at the end, we were... More

We went on the 1000 am cruise on a perfect August day. We were with Capt Fred who has been a lifelong resident of the island and for 10 months of the year teaches in the local school. It was clear that he is very knowledgable about the history, the culture and the economy of the island. He first took... More

A great trip on the waters of Chincoteague & Assateague. The captain of the boat was a wealth of information. I will do this trip when I come back to Chincoteague.

This past week we went on a sunset cruise with Capt. Tom. We had 2 adults and 2 kids. Capt Tom, a local Chincoteagan , showed us a great time. We saw lots of dolphins, eagles and ponies. He told us lots of local history and lore as well. The kids and adults consider it a high point of our... More

Our guide was Scott. He was very informative and taught us a lot about the island of Chincoteague and it's wildlife. We saw a lot of animals including wild ponies, dolphins, bald eagle, and osprey. We saw great views of the light house, wallops island, and assateague island. This is a great experience and is great for all ages!

We went on the boat tour with two adults, two children, and a teen. We got to see dolphins, bald eagles, and of course; the ponies! The tour guide was wonderful and kept us interested for the whole two hour tour :)
