We brought a Boy Scout group of 40 (with a reservation) aged eight to sixty-something. Kara had everything all set for us. We finished our project in less than an hour but stayed a bit longer to see all the other creative artwork. Don't miss the glass evening gown. Glass Palette was a highlight of our trip to Charlottesville.

The studio is bright and full of great glass art. The owners are helpful if you prefer or leave you to be artistic on your own if you like. We had simple art and complicated technique pieces and we all had a great time. We were never rushed and even took a break to eat lunch up the street before... More

I enjoyed a morning working on my glass piece, found it a lot of fun to design. You are given all the supplies you need and directions on how to create what you want. Would recommend for anyone. You can work at your own pace and they are more than happy to help you if you have any questions.

This was a treat for all four of us. We simply walked in and were greeted and give a table along with a complete overview of how to create our own design. Staff was friendly and helpful. An hour so later we our designs were complete. Being from out of the area was not a problem as once the items... More

Have been here twice. A great rainy day activity. Both times have made 5 X 7 picture frames for $34. No studio fee and you can stay as long as you want. great venue for birthday parties and nice workers. Only takes 1-2 days to be able to pick it up. Super fun place, would recommend! It is just a... We came here from Wintergreen resortv on a rainy day. Making the art was very fun for our adults and 11 year olds. We ddidn't include our 4 year old after he chopped some glass that the others were going to use. This is a long activity depending on how skillful you are and the size of your project. Really... I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but my husband and I had fun. There were actually a fair amount of Judaica projects available (mezzuzah case, hannukiah, seder plate, etc). I made a pendant for my sister-in-law and my husband decorated a mezzuzah case for me. All in all, a fun afternoon.

Glass making interactive activity. Can be easy or complicated depending on your motivation or ability. Could be very rewarding and creative experience. Glass cutting involved.

We were here a couple years ago and happened upon it when we were in town one weekend. They still allow you to make your own glass piece, which we just observed this time around. The kids seemed to love it, since it was quite the unique experience. The showroom was lovely and full of just about every glass creation... More

My friend came upon this place researching things to do when we where going to met at Charlottesville and I was surprisingly so glad we did and also talked our husbands into joining us. The owner Maria and her daughter made us feel so welcomed and relaxed. Made a beautiful dish and would highly recommend anyone to give it a... More
