My wife and I booked 3 hours each and picked our own services. We each agreed that the massage experience was lacking, while the facial experience was totally worthwhile. The facility is small, but adequate. The locker rooms are first class with steam and dry saunas and showers.

At first, we thought, as we entered building 7, that we had checked into a cheap motel. However, our room was perfect, and complete with a deck that overlooked a pond. The 25m pool and the gym are excellent. The restaurant was an extremely pleasant place to eat, albeit a tad overpriced for the food quality. Service was excellent and... More

Celebrating my daughters 20th birthday with a few days of spa treatments at The Boars Head Inn Spa was absolutely perfect.

I stayed at the Boar's Head Inn for 4 days and enjoyed some the facilities such as the spa, the lap pool and the hiking trail. The Inn is a Historic Hotel run by the University of Virginia. The setting is bucolic, there are 4 pools, tennis courts, a spa, a spectacular golf course and more. The staff is gracious... More

I had to take a quick trip to Charlottesville on Sunday. I had wanted to stay at The Boarshead for sometime. It was everything I hoped! WONDERFUL staff! Great room and terrific dinner and breakfast. I only had one service at The Spa due to time factor (I was staying only one night and had a full schedule.) However, I... More

The spa was relaxing and the service was adequate, but it is the little things that make a big difference. It would have been nice to have all things needed in the locker room to get ready for a dinner that followed the service. I did have a room to go back to, but it is always fun to have... More

This is by far the best hotel/inn at which to stay when visiting UVA. The restaurant is just okay but expensive. My suggestion is to stay at the inn and make the short trip into Charlottesville for your meals. The inn is older but quaint and elegant.

I went first thing in the morning on a Thursday and it was so quiet and peaceful. I felt as if I had the place all to myself. The signs to the spa are clearly marked. It's a short walk through the quaint corridor to the front entrance. The front entrance is nice with big red doors and a cute... More

I love a resort with a spa that could accomadate 4 of us at a time. The staff was efficient getting us checked in. My husband and I enjoyed a couple massage that was first rate. Justin was in tune to the parts that needed a little more attention.
