My wife and I enjoy white wine only; Kluge would not adjust and/or accomodate us as most will do. It was basically take it or leave it; we did buy two glasses; but it appeared they could have cared less. more

Kluge was the most expensive of the southern Monticello wineries. The girl who gave us our tasting was an airhead with very little knowledge of the wines. However, we were able to take out samples and sit outside and enjoy them at our own pace, which we liked. We bought a cheese plate, and they complimented the wines very well.... more

The wines are tremendous. Not for the novice for sure, world class. The red wines were reminicent of fine bordeaux and the sparkling wines were among the best from America I have ever tasted. The setting was beautiful, I felt like I was in Napa Valley. No doubt worth the trip. more

We stopped here after visiting Monticello - tasted 6 wines with a cheese and fruit tray. We ended up buying Cru, Simply Red and Viognier. They seem to have a nice picnic kind of lunch and a small gift shop. There are tables to sit outside - we were there on a Monday - I imagine it's more crowded on... more

The wine is so so. I am not really impressed and even more surprised when I learned of the wine price. However, this place has an outdoor seating in the woods. The gourmet sandwiches, salads, and others are reasonably priced. The desserts are to die for. more
