We loved walking around the outdoor mall. Lots to see and do! We especially loved the outdoor public chalkboard. Loved the outdoor seating and many restaurant options and wide variety of shops. I wish we had had more time -- look forward to returning. More

The people working in the little shops and resturants were very friendly and very helpful. Enjoyed my late afternoon stroll through the stores and local beer at a shady table on the mall. People in the Visitors Center at the end of the mall could have been more helpful. More

The Downtown Pedestrian Mall Downtown in Charlottesville is fabulous. Inside the Pedestrian Mall is simply the best gelato in America. In fact it rivals Italian gelato. It is simply the best! More

Interesting shops and restaurants. Parkinf is a challenge. The parking garage is the best option, but expensive. More

Street vendors and musicians and a variety of unique shops and restaurants...no trip to Charlottesville should be complete without experiencing the Downtown Mall. Outdoor eating is available at many restaurants when weather permits. Be sure to stop in at Splendora for some great gelato! More

A must visit if you go to Charlottesville. I wish every city or town had a pedestrian area. Many cute shops coffee houses and restaurants. More

How quaint! We visited two days over the long Thanksgiving weekend and mostly loved the atmosphere of the mall. The shops are plentiful from national chain (Urban Outfitters) to small businesses - including shoe stores, clothing shops, paper shops, and small restaurants.
