The groupon deal was a rip-off. I paid $22 dollars for two people and it did not include the wine tasting, I can't believe that anybody would paid the regular price of $44 for two people and not get the wine tasting. For that you need to play another $10 per person. It was my fault for not reading the... More

I really like this place. I've been here several times. Since the weather is getting nicer, they are packed. They've only been open almost 1 year, so they are still making changes to better serve their guests. Most recently, I see that they have a number of additional areas for tastings and have added an extra cash register to get... More

My husband and I were there for the music festival and although it rained all day, we had a wonderful time. We cannot wait to go back and spend a few hours enjoying some live music outside while sipping some of Virginia's finest!

The wines were better than I expected for a relatively new northern Virginia winery, but they were overpriced. Of course, overpriced wines are par for the course for Virginia wineries, but the tasting itself was more overpriced than usual ($12 vs. a more typical $8 at a VA winery, and not many wines). It's in a beautiful location, and is... More

I got a living social deal for $22. Sounds great right? Except that it doesn't apply to ANY of the alcohol. Who goes to a winery not intending to drink? It said it included glasses a snack and a $24 dollar gift shop credit. The gift shop does not include any of the wine and everything is extremely over priced.... More

The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is kind, but the wine and prices are not compatible. I would say, try it out for yourself, but check the wine prices online and be prepared to pay more here than in most other NOVA wineries.

Great great atmosphere. Small property compared to some western wineries but close to city so easily accessible. Large lawn for warmer weather, large interior for cooler weather. Most winery interiors are so small. 2pm on a Saturday was like a late night bar in DC! Wine tasting is very expensive, wines are not great, they don't make their own wines.... More

$12 bucks for wine tasting is too much! Also amount of each tasting is too little. View is nice but look elsewhere.

I'm very disappointed that a new winery won't learn from all of it's competition. Dogs today are part of a complete family and go everywhere with us. We and like minded dog lovers will boycott wineries that adopt such policies. Winery's like Barrel Oak in Delaplane embrace dogs, have a great social setting and great wine. All this ownership has... I purchased a Living Social Deal for $22.00, a $44.00 value. Two souvenir wine glasses, $24.00 to spend in the gift shop, choice of a baguette or crackers and a block of cheese or choice of cheese spread were included in the deal. This was our first visit to this winery that just opened in June 2012. The winery is... More
