My husband (40's), father (68 years), son (4 years), and myself went on such a wonderful adventure kayaking with Lynn about 17 minutes from downtown Cape Charles, VA at Cherrystone inlet last week on a 2 hour clamming kayak tour. My husband and I have kayaked many times, but my father had never been kayaking. Lynn gave very good and... More

We had a great time paddling to the winery with Will, our guide, from Bayford. He did a hands down terrific job of ensuring our safety, providing educational information about Church Creek's history, the environment and winery. He was wonderful to all of us and managed to keep our unruly gaggle of ladies happy and entertained for a full 5... More

We take lots of tours around the world and these guides were top notch! They knew the natural history of the many waterways of the Eastern Shore, and they knew the winemaking business as well. Kayaks are well maintained and the route was absolutely beautiful with thoughtful insights and descriptions. We passed Rabbit Island, which is a rookery for Ospreys... More

I was traveling on my own to Cape Charles, VA and decided to try kayaking for the first time with SouthEast Expeditions. The employees were very friendly and helpful. My guide was very knowledgeable, patient and made the trip very fun. Everything about my experience with SEE helped me feel safe and confident that my guide would take care of... More

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon of paddling from the launch in Bayford to the Chatham winery and back. Our SouthEast guide, Caroline, could not have been more helpful. She freely shared a wealth of knowledge about a range of topics, including the cultivation of clam and oyster stocks by local watermen, the wildlife we saw along the... More

We were staying in Greenbackville, about 70 miles north of Nassawadox, where the actual dock is located. It was well worth the drive down to take this fun and beautiful tour. My husband and I were first time kayakers but Isaac, our guide, gave good instructions and we were paddling along just fine in a few minutes. We also learned... More

My boyfriend and I took a kayaking wine tour to Chatham Vineyards near Cape Charles, Va. We both own kayaks of our own, and both have good paddling skills. Our tour guide, Chandler was very nice, and seemed to really know his stuff. He was well informed about the wharf, the kayaks, the history of the waterways and history of... More

My boyfriend and I had an AMAZING time this past week kayaking with 2 young men from Southeast Expeditions. They were VERY knowledgeable and friendly and let us explore and dig our own fresh clams. They answered all of our questions and even asked us questions to keep the conversation going. I would highly recommend this company!

My husband and kayaked from Bayford to Chatham Winery. Dave was a great guide...very friendly and relaxed. Quiet waters with lots of natural beauty. The folks at the winery were great as well. Wonderful afternoon on the water!
