Our day was a little dreary with overcast skies and threat of a little rain, but what the heck. Our guide (can't recall her name but is attending Liberty University for Nursing - good for her!!) helpful and friendly. Because of the weather, it was just the three of us. Chatham makes some tasty wines (except for maybe the rose')... More

Renting a paddleboard started out promising with fast email responses and reasonable prices. However, there were a few snags on the day of rental that almost made me cancel. I was given the wrong address for the Cape Charles location (google maps is also incorrect). Then when a local business kindly directed me to the new office a couple blocks... More

Thank you for your feedback from your recent experience with Southeast Expeditions. This is certainly well below the standard we set for ourselves. We set the bar pretty high and place a premium on our customer service, but isolated incidents do happen and we sincerely appreciate you brining this to our attention. Rest assured, we will address this and use... More

My husband (40's), father (68 years), son (4 years), and myself went on such a wonderful adventure kayaking with Lynn about 17 minutes from downtown Cape Charles, VA at Cherrystone inlet last week on a 2 hour clamming kayak tour. My husband and I have kayaked many times, but my father had never been kayaking. Lynn gave very good and... More

We had a great time paddling to the winery with Will, our guide, from Bayford. He did a hands down terrific job of ensuring our safety, providing educational information about Church Creek's history, the environment and winery. He was wonderful to all of us and managed to keep our unruly gaggle of ladies happy and entertained for a full 5... More

We take lots of tours around the world and these guides were top notch! They knew the natural history of the many waterways of the Eastern Shore, and they knew the winemaking business as well. Kayaks are well maintained and the route was absolutely beautiful with thoughtful insights and descriptions. We passed Rabbit Island, which is a rookery for Ospreys... More

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon of paddling from the launch in Bayford to the Chatham winery and back. Our SouthEast guide, Caroline, could not have been more helpful.
