When we go to wineries we just taste and go. But here we had to buy a bottle and sit on the deck (which there are at least 3) and take in the wonderful view. Since the tree had not gotten their leaves yet we could see forever....Also, the Chardonnay is good!

Twin Oaks is a tucked away place, but once you get on the patio deck it has a truly breathe view. I am looking forward to come back in July at dusk. I heard that they have wonderful sunsets. The service was great and knowledgeable. I learned a lot about wine and the story about the place and how it... More

Twin Oaks in a small winery in a lovely setting with a wonderful view looking west over the Shenandoah valley. With the gentle giant Saint Bernard welcoming you and perhaps some good bluegrass music, you settle in on a cold day and enjoy the wine and warmth or if the weather is better you can sit outside and enjoy the... I was extremely disappointed in this winery. It has so much potential since the place is nice with great views. There was an older crowd here. I don't think my boyfriend and I liked one wine on the tasting list. The service was very poor and no explanations were given when sampling the wines. I like to learn about the... More

Let me be the first to say that typically wine tasting is usually done with just my husband and I, however, we were heading back from Great Country Farms (family outing) and stumbled acorss this winery when we were driving home. I ran in to see if we could get a bottle of wine to share, while my husband waited... More

Six of us went to the winery after River Tubing at Watermelon Park. We paid $5 each to taste six wines. If you wanted to take your glass home, it was an additional $5. The Chardonnay, Cabernet and Blend were very good. The Raspberry to tart for my liking and the Peach to mild in flavor. The Norton was did... More

We have visited several winery/vineyards in the area and this one has one of the best views of the Shenandoah Valley. Enjoy the view, the birds and other wildlife while sampling the wines. Or bring a picnic lunch and sit out on the deck with one of their fine wines and just relax. There is a small fee if you... More

Such an awesome atmosphere. It is very tavern-like inside the winery and the service and people are the same way - laid back, relaxed, comfortable, and friendly. The wine is quite tasty as well. They also have a cute deck to just sit and look at the beautiful view while sipping on a glass of wine. Definitely a charming place... More

Visited this winery for the very first time two weeks ago. They have a great vibe here, truly a tavern setting. And what a view!!! Even on the cloudy, chilly day we were there, the view was still beautiful. I'm looking forward to going back on a clear, sunny day and seeing that view again. They offer indoor seating and... More

This is a small winery in a wonderful cozy building next to an old tavern property. Wine tasting was fair but that is always an individual taste so decide on which you like on your own. From the windows or outside seating area you can see approximately 50 miles west across the north end of the Shenandoah Valley. The folks... More
