And the wine is darn good too! We really liked the Meritage and the Farm Table White. The baguette and tapenade trio were a great addition.

The view is spectacular. A long, steep gravel road takes you to almost the top and there is a gorgeous view down into the valley. This is basically the only reason to stop by. The tasting is overpriced for some VERY skimpy pours of about five wines. The lady doing the tasting seemed uninterested in us or the tasting and... More

Visited Bluemont winery at 4pm until close. I bought a bottle of their Norton (12.9% abv). Visiting from Dallas, I like to have the local grape. It needs a little time in the glass, but is a good wine. I come to the D.C. area every December on business for one week, and visit VA wineries on the weekend. We... More

We were in VA wine country with plans to visit multiple vineyards that day, and due to a vineyard being closed, we ended up starting our day at Bluemont, and I have to say, that was our good fortune! We made it to the top of the steep hill while it was still a beautiful blue-sky day and got to... More

The tasting room is very cute with alot of outside seating to allow you to admire the outstanding views. A nice place to hang out. The wines were nice enough. They seemed to taste like something different than what they were. The table white like a pinot grigio. The Vidal blanc like a reisling. It was a good visit.

This winery is a wonderful, place to enjoy the gorgeous view, drink some very excellent Virginia wine and sample some yummy cheese and other snacks. Everyone working here is so friendly and seem proud of the wine. We will definitely return!

We visited Bluemont Vineyards based on the posted pictures knowing it was going to be beautiful. Not only did it have a beautiful view, the wine was great! Tastings were $7 or a glass for $8. Food available. We had a soft baguette with olive tapenade for $11. It appeared you could bring your own food and sit on the... More

We love going to vineyards and this place proves that you can escape the DC madness and enjoy a feeling of tranquility in the mountains. Great wine tasting options, usually a location on many wine tours and buses from DC- can get quite busy. Lovely food options for pairings

Upon driving up, we couldn't find a parking spot. We went on a nice weekend day when the sun was shining, but this was ridiculous, especially considering they have such a HUGE parking lot! Upon entering, the noise was outrageous! They were many of the younger crowds there and they all seemed to try to be louder than the group... More

Casual wine tasting on the patio with a view of the entire valley. Must stop on weekend wine tour. They also serve light appetizers the complement their wine selections. Their "951" is one of the few drinkable reds in the valley.
