Perched on a hill this winery is just gorgeous with grape vines leading the way up on one side and apple trees on the other. It was picturesque and once we got there the wine tasting was delightful. Lynn served us and she was awesome! I like the Vidal Blanc best but they have a good variety of reds and... More

I attended a wedding at the winery last weekend and i thought the landscape was incredible. It was an evening wedding so the light over the hills and vines was amazing! If you aren't a huge wine person, take your camera and compensate with getting some photos of the landscape.

My husband and I went with my parents on a Saturday this August (2014) and were very impressed with the view (on a hill). We also really enjoyed the peach/white wine they offered, it was refreshing and paired well with a variety of different cheeses. They allow pets as well!

The wine is better than I would expect from Virginia, the view is beautiful, there is not enough parking, the location is farther from Leesburg than I would like. Worth a trip.

We were treated rudely by the servers, who frankly couldn't have cared less about our presence it seemed. Small pours to boot. Just around the corner is the new Twin Oaks Tavern winery where the views are gorgeous, the pours generous and the servers friendly.

First visit to Bluemount Vineyard but it won't be the last. We were made to feel at ease and treated as guests. Wine tasting was modified to suit our taste and the wines and the pulled pork sandwich along with great view and comfortable surroundings made a very enjoyable trip. Could improve on parking but overall excellant.

We visited with a large group as part of a birthday celebration and had a private tasting on a separate patio. The winery is set high up on a hill with a beautiful view overlooking the valley below. You can see all the way back to Reston and apparently Tysons Corner and beyond on clear days. The winery was very... More

It will take a little time to get to Bluemont, but the scenic drive and vista from the tasting room is well worth the trip. Wines were good overall and the staff is very friendly and knowledgable. I know we'll be back in the fall to experience Bluemont again.

Did a wine tour with friends to two new vineyards, including Bluemont. While it wasn't the clearest of days, the view is still fantastic! This is probably one of the busiest vineyards I have ever seen; the upstairs and downstairs was very busy; it may have been due to the fact that not many were enjoying the outdoors since it... More
