There is somethin for everyone. Great food places, historic sites, a great lodge nearby. Fabulous art and architecture around the area.

This is a small town with interesting shops. There is free parking and everything is within walking distance. I spend a couple of hours there every time I am in the area.

After reading some reviews we wanted to stop and take a look. Cute but was not worth getting out of the car for. There was not much to see or do.

Love the feel that you have stepped back in time. I just wish they had more stores with current merchandise, like gift shops with local items and clothing stores and not so many antique stores.

Welcoming and lovely, I felt at home when folks stopped to chat. The quaint buildings gave me a lost-in-time sense which was perfect for my visit.

Historic Centertown Bedford has many antique shops and small locally owned restaurants. The shops are wonderful to browse through & the variety of restaurants should please all visitors. On Tuesdays from 3:00 - 7:00 pm the town hosts "Tasty Tuesday" - local vendors sell homemade cakes, breads, chocolate snacks, homemade ice creams, fresh produce & homemade jams & jellies. The... Several buildings had booths of used\antiques that were nice for browsing. They were ok (1 building was deceptively large) but as with anything like this, it depends on what you are looking for. My wife enjoyed it more than I did. We purchased only 1 item.
