This was a fun stop on our way to White River Junction. We liked seeing some of the items from childhood that you cannot find anywhere else. Our daughter enjoyed picking out candy from the bins. We were able to select souvenirs to bring back home. We also had a nice lunch at they Byrant House on the Vermont Country... More

Such a cool store to visit! Lots of unique and "Vermont" style items and just interesting to walk around. Lots of locally made gourmet items (syrup, cheese, fudge, etc) to taste for free and all of it was incredible. I hardly spent any money here but still loved shopping around.

If you are at all a fan of this catalog - or just like an old style country store - stop in to see the wares of this great landmark. I have ordered from these folks for years - but being able to stop in and see everything was a great time. It's a bit like a museum, a gift... More

I could spend an entire day at the Vermont Country Store. They have so many unique things such as antiques, souvenirs, Vermont Cheese, maple syrup, chocolates, candies, clothing, home decor, toys, and much more. Definitely a great day trip.

Almost every trip to Vermont includes a stop at the Vermont Country Store. Love the hand milled soaps, and the expansive food treats. My teenage kids love all the old time toys.

This place is a great stop for everyone. Whether you need a place to stretch your legs and enjoy the scenery or you enjoy browsing an array eclectic findings then this place is just for you! It reminds me of a Cracker Barrel on steroids (the gift shop portion). Lots of items there that will take many generations on a... More

You can spend a full day in this store. Saw items that were in my parents house which brought back many memories of childhood. Found many useful items that could have come home with me but I resisted. Items you couldn't think of yourself are everywhere. Forgot the food stuffs - so many cheeses to taste I could not make... Very fun store to check out. Lots of unexpected things. Large building. Helpful staff. Shipping stuff home is an option. Allow at least an hour. More, if you're a shopper. If you're hungry, stop at the restaurant next door. It's excellent.
