My husband and I were casually driving through Vermont and came upon the charming town of Weston where the store is located. I am so glad that we found this place. It is the type of quintessential country Vermont charm that we were... More

Old timely articles for sale. Samples of goodies every where. Great place to spend some fun time. Loved the rocking chair swings outside and the old car and truck.

Stopped here on a tour of New England. The store is large with several different rooms full of food, gifts and home ware. I bought maple syrup, chocolates and cheesecake mix's - but beware - the same items were cheaper across the street in another very similar store.

There is something for everyone in the store to browse. You always find something that you didn't know you need until you were there. Lots of nostalgic items that you can't find any where else.

The Country Store is a great place to shop for unusual items, especially for the kitchen. For that I would give it 5 stars. However, the prices they charge for real New England products are outrageously high, e.g. maple syrup, balm bag. For that I rate it as 1 star.

Most of the goods are "made in China" and overpriced. Can't understand what all the hype is about. There are so many wonderful places to visit in this part of Vermont. This in NOT one of them.

The Vermont Country Store is over the top with dozens of cheeses, penny candy, syrups and jams, maple anything and everything, tasting stations, classic toys and housewares including a push lawnmower, rotary dial telephones and sock monkey dolls. Fun products. Plus it's a great photo op. We were part of a great Caravan New England fall color tour.

I've been to both stores they're south fun to walk through and sample their cookies, crackers, dips, cheeses, and friendly helpful staff. If you're ever in the area it's well worth the trip!
