So many random things that I had forgotten from my childhood just show up here at the store. Random toys, books, food items. A person could literally spend hours there. My favorite has to be the food section. So many things you can try. A lot of candies you don't see anymore, you'll find them there for sure! Cheese, dips,... More

We were recommended to go here by an older couple that we met at the hotel we stayed. We are so happy we went. We loved everything and bought presents for everyone.. If you're looking for quaint Vermont like presents, this is the place!!!

Spent the day driving around Vermont the other dayy with a stop at the VCS! This place is huge and full of everything you need to survive in Vermont. A very relaxed back woods atmosphere, the store is in the heart of beautiful downtown Weston, VT. A few stores across the street are ok with VT Souvenirs. But they just... More

My daughter gave me a box of Peppermint Divinities for my birthday in November. They were delicious! I hadn’t had divinity of this quality for years. I ordered two boxes to enjoy over Christmas, and instead, received a bag of Christmas Spice Drops, understandable when the season requires temporary workers. I called Vermont Country Store and talked to Nancy. Without... More

The ultimate country store! Something for everyone. The staff is friendly and helpful. Even though it was very crowded, the atmosphere was very relaxed. Enjoyed some great snack samples and purchased items I couldn't find elsewhere.

The Vermont Country Store is a must for a pit stop if you are in the area. A step back in time. They have things that are hard to find now. Dry skin creams, kitchen cleansers and gadgets, everything made from maple syrup, great cutting boards, old fashion PJ's and nightgowns, hard candies, jams, little pillows stuffed with pine -... Nothing beats going to the Original Location. Only 20 minute drive from Ludlow, VT. Love the variety of old Fashioned candy. Once a year, we make a trip there for MaryJane's, It's worth the time it takes to count out 100-300 candies each trip. One of our friends: Love them, love them, love them. So when they can't make the... More

Athmophere and service were nice. Little turistic feeling. Otherwise would have given 5 points but prices were too high. Also the restaurant was expencive where I was served a glutenfree burger with 2 breadslices. Area and idea were great. For Americans there is many familiar products to find which you taught no more exist. But I found some which I... More

So many things you'll find in here - things you haven't seen in ages, too! There are some cool items, but things are slightly pricey. Still, you could spend an hour or two really looking at everything in this store!

I thoroughly enjoyed this store - it was a walk down memory lane and it brought back so many childhood memories but the store wouldn't survive if it relied on my purchases - for me it was a museum type trip but as a store I found it quite pricey. Having said that, if I lived in the States, I... More
