The whole family enjoys visiting this store with its old-time items, penny candy, cheeses, toys, clothes, etc. Out of the ordinary and worth a visit. Nice dining room next door too. Or the outdoor lunch/snack bar.

We fortuitous arrived just about lunch time and indulged in many of the free samples of cheese, cookies, jams, jellies, relish etc. This is an almost overwhelming sensory experience of a bygone New England life with plenty of chances to test out thee vintage inspired toys, candies, clothing and home goods. Just bring your cell phone so you can call... More

Anyone who has enjoyed their catalogs must stop at one of their two stores. It's like a step back in time - your childhood or maybe your parents childhood. Love this place, so much to look at and remenice about! The store goes on and on, cheese and syrup, jams and jellies, penny candies, toys, linens, clothing and some odd... More

This is one place I've always wanted to visit. I first got my husband settled in a Rocking Chair on the front porch. I've never seen so much stuff in any store that dated back so far. I loved seeing the books and toys from my childhood. I found a lot of gadgets, Christmas ornaments for all the family that... More

Great place to visit after getting black and white catalogue for 30 years. Found things haven't seen in years. Fun place to explore, even bought a body spray that smells like baby powder, roll on septic stick, common crackers, and maple walnut fudge. If you are in area worth the visit.

I'd looked at the Vermont Country Store catalog for years, and it was a complete hoot to go visit this, the original location, in person. Very accommodating for a destination trip, with play area, picnic areas and nature trails to explore, but the main attraction is the store itself. Nicely laid out with all the gazillion things in the catalog,... More

We stopped at the Vermont country Store in Weston while in the area on a short vacation. Before going in the store, stop and have one of the best hamburgers you will ever have at the dairy bar. Local grass fed beef and bacon that was amazing. Inside the store it is very hit-or-miss as far as what you will... More

A place full of interesting things to see and taste! Was amazed at how much there was. My favorite table cloths were here and the cheese we were able to taste before we bought some. A fun place to spend some time and find unique finds.
