Had a Living Social voucher to Cold Hollow Cider Mill worth $20 so decided to visit this place on our last visit to Stowe. They have these wonderful little donuts made with apple cider that are so yummy and are worth every calorie! There is also a little luncheonette area that makes great sandwiches. I had a turkey and provolone... More

This is a must do during a Stowe day trip. Stop in for your FREE sample of fresh apple cider and FREE cider-cicles for the kids during the summer (just ask for the frozen great at the cash). Kids are impressed by the honey hive and can spend a lot of time trying to safely locate the Queen Bee! Plenty... More

If you are heading to Stowe make sure you stop at the Cold Hollow Cider Mill on your way. You will want to make sure you pick up some WARM cider donuts. They have some they will try to sell you that aren't warm, but just ask for a warm one. That is the only way to eat these donuts.... More

It was worth the short drive for the cider and donuts. Fresh and delicious. It reminded me of a place back home. They also have Vermont foodstuffs and craft-type items. Simple. Non-pretentious. The kids enjoyed following the stamped apples on the floor to find the cider.

Staff was lack luster. Granted it's their off season but not one seemed very friendly or informative.

We stopped by here to try the cider being that it was March and nothing was being harvested I didnt expect to see any action. The store also had other VT products available for purchase from jelly to syrup and other snacks. There are windows with information plaques in the production area so you know what you are looking at and... More

Instead of warm cozy it is more like you are walking through a business that is on it's way out. You feel you are walking around a barely half full storage area. It was disappointing. It isn't harvest season but it is advertised as Vermont tourist attraction year round.

The day we stopped at Cold Hollow it was pouring rain and there were 2 busloads of visitors there at the same time. That being said, the people working there were friendly and helpful. We tasted the 4 grades of syrup and some fresh apple cider. The gift shop was fully stocked and I found some great souveniers. It was... More

You must stop here. Get a fresh baked apple pie and hot apple cider! Plenty of items for purchase. If you get there early enough in the morning you can get the apple cider doughnuts freshly made, and still warm. Yummy!
