we missed the cider pressing, but the free samples were still yummy. We can recommend both the cider slushies and the cider doughnuts, which were still soft and moist for breakfast the next day. There's also an extensive shop of Vermont products including maple syrup.

Cold Hollow Cider Mill has great apple cider, as well as cider donuts that are made in front of you and actually taste like cider and lots of other Vermont-made products. We particularly love the cider jelly. Another plus: The bathrooms are clean and spacious for a store. The building across the parking lot houses the cafe and a winery... More

This is a terrific shop and tour to take! Love cider- Love donuts! Love homemade knickknacks- This is the place for you to stop. Donuts were great! Had to put some in the trunk to not eat them all nonstop. Will go again!

I don't even like cider, but I tried theirs and it was really good! We also got souvenirs to take back home for family in PA. The donuts are good and would taste good with some coffee. Nice store and you get to see how the cider is made.

We happened upon the Mill on our way through going to Ben and Jerry's - looked interesting so we gave it a try. They were shutting down for the night (was 10 minutes before closing) so couldn't really take advantage of the educational stuff about making cider and all, but they still had free samples in the back of the... Have to stop here when in the area. You can sample the Apple Cider, which by the way is the best I have ever had. The Apple Pies are amazing, and made there. You can also watch them making the Apple Cider, if you are there at the right time. We got to see the process while we were there.... More

This is a cider mill that sells Vermont grown and themed treats and gifts. Great mix of food (cider donuts, maple candies, unique condiments, etc), kitchen goods and apparel. Yes it will tempt you to buy dozens of the deliciously labeled specialties and especially the sauces and condiments can add up, but prices are fair and it's authentic stuff you'll... More

I nearly went broke buying sauces, jams, homemade cream/soaps, housewares, and treats. Items are fairly priced: so exercise self-control while buying as it's clear I did not. Everything has so much appeal to individuals who like hand-made authentic top quality products. You will drool as you watch doughnuts made the old-fashioned way. You will sample until you can't fit any... More

Cold Hollow Cider Mill is a great destination for picking up Vermont made items. They have excellent cider doughnuts that are made fresh daily and are especially good when eaten warm. Also, their cider is delicious.
