They have a nice gym and it's worth it if you want to work out. This is why I gave any stars although the gym alone could be 5 stars. The problem is for a family of 6 to swim for an hour was too expensive. They must not want the public.

Nice gym, pool and kiddie pool, but much too expensive for day use!!!! Not sure why the high ticket price. Do they not want to encourage day use??

To go work out at this gym you pay $20 to get in the door and then an additional fee--another $10 or 12, to take a class. Extra charges apply for towels and locks for the locker room. Drinking water, thank goodness, is free. The place is clean and spacious and the equipment is in good order, but the whole... More

I wanted to swim laps for an hour while visiting. $20.00 is highway robbery to swim and the staff at the desk this day was not very helpful. Elitist pricing to keep all but those with deep pockets out of this "Good 'Ol Boy" club.

The staff are friendly, and if you're interested in dropping a pretty penny to swim for the day, this is the place for you. The pool is quite large, I'm not sure of the measurements, I'm sure they are on the website. Several lap areas for you to swim laps as well! Great little indoor water park for the children.... More

I LOVE the kiddie pool at the Swimming Hole and would love it even more if I could bring my children regularly. The price, unfortunately, is way too high for me to consider doing so. I agree with the reviewer who suggests that nonprofit status should be revoked. I realize pools have high overhead, but between all their exorbitant membership... More

Large indoor pool and a fun kids pool beside it. There is also a gym so you can exercise and swim in the same visit. It is missing a Jacuzzi/hot tub-which would have been great with the zero degree temperatures outside.

So this is a really great recreation center for such a small community. If I were a Stowe local, I would definitely belong. We were visiting for the weekend and took our kids there for an afternoon of swimming after skiing. I found that it was very expensive for the hour and a half we were there. They even charged... You be the judge. An hour at the pool or all day it does not matter; Adults(18-64) $20 Juniors(6-17) $14 Seniors(65+) $17 Children 5 & Under $6 Family of 4 looking for a swim $68. Don't forget your towels or bring valuables!

Found it to be to expensive to swim laps.My wife and I felt that 40 bucks for the two of us to swim one hour was steep. It takes us less than a half hour to swim our 1000 yards.
