The staff are friendly, and if you're interested in dropping a pretty penny to swim for the day, this is the place for you. The pool is quite large, I'm not sure of the measurements, I'm sure they are on the website. Several lap areas for you to swim laps as well! Great little indoor water park for the children.... More

I LOVE the kiddie pool at the Swimming Hole and would love it even more if I could bring my children regularly. The price, unfortunately, is way too high for me to consider doing so. I agree with the reviewer who suggests that nonprofit status should be revoked. I realize pools have high overhead, but between all their exorbitant membership... More

Large indoor pool and a fun kids pool beside it. There is also a gym so you can exercise and swim in the same visit. It is missing a Jacuzzi/hot tub-which would have been great with the zero degree temperatures outside.

So this is a really great recreation center for such a small community. If I were a Stowe local, I would definitely belong. We were visiting for the weekend and took our kids there for an afternoon of swimming after skiing. I found that it was very expensive for the hour and a half we were there. They even charged... Found it to be to expensive to swim laps.My wife and I felt that 40 bucks for the two of us to swim one hour was steep. It takes us less than a half hour to swim our 1000 yards.

We went one beautiful Sunday afternoon and few people were there. I did notice that when I went by in the morning that it was a busy place. The water slide was lots of fun for adults and kids. The locker room was spacious and clean. There appeared to be lots of exercising machines. We went to swim.

The Swimming Hole is one of the reasons we still live in Stowe. Most of the reviews are correct. The good and the bad. The facility is exceptional in a 5000+ person village. It would do very well in Westchester, Long Island, Arlington or anywhere else. It is modern, clean and offers a variety of equipment, facilities and classes to... More

We have been going to the swimming hole for over 5 years. We love it there. We bring our out of town guest; had birthday parties there. It is always clean and the water is 82*. Some people must like to complain because I don't see the problems. The cost is manageable if you buy coupon books at the center.... More

So the Swimming Hole has sort of a high end appearance as one passes by and/or enters the front door. They willingly accept visitors from out of town and have a number of payment options to accommodate these visitors. The locker room (and shower and toilet facilities) is clean and spacious with shelves and private lockers. The swimming pool is... More
