Great day on the slopes. Took the quad lift once and FROZE - so every time up after I took the Gondola. Nice touch and a great way to warm up before skiing back down the mountain. As always - everyone there was super friendly and helpful!

The two of us sent to the scenic trails, and the youngest took a class, being his first time. The teacher was patient, kind, and friendly!

Maybe they've changed it since we dined/stayed there, but the fork that reached 4 inches off the edge of the plate was akin to a trident Poseidon might've manned under the sea. It was ridiculous; same with the knife. The hotel itself is quite nice, over-priced like everything on Stowe Mt (not the town/village, but the mountain), and the atmosphere... More

Loved Stowe but buy your ski tickets online before you come and save big. Regular tkt was $95...only $84...On Mtn eating is pricey as to be expected...almost at the Vail level of costs.

Second year skiing and boarding at Stowe Mountain and we will be back again next year!! The facilities are wonderful, even on a very cold day the gondola keeps you warm on the way up and the long ride down does the rest. People very friendly on the mountain, both staff, locals and visitors. My nieces loved ski school and... More

Went downhill for a day. Just the second time in 7 years! It came right back. The conditions were great, barely a wait to get on a lift. and did both skis and snowboard. Just wish my legs had been in better shape! The ski card (no more life tickets) is a very interesting idea. Makes it much easier to... More

The staff @ Spruce Lodge are super friendly! Also the food court is fantastic. On sat/sun hang out by the outdoor fireplace.

I came on a 4 day weekend trip to Stowe with friends. Since I hadn't ever skied before I know I needed a lesson. I arrived late for the first group lesson, but they set me up for the next group. I was put it in intro to turning with Adele, a local stowe ski instructor, it was like getting... More

Large enough mountain to have diversity in terrain for all skier levels. Snow was good and the mountain staff very friendly. The ski school was excellent (sent our three year old). We ski Vail regularly and I would say the ski school surpassed Vail's. My only complaint was that getting between base lifts often required taking off your skis and... More

The mountain has diverse trails and the staff is abundant and professional. This includes both the spruce and Mansfield mountains which if you have younger kids the ski school at Spruce is excellent.
