Skied here even though the snow conditions everywhere are poor. This mountain has the old ski feel in Mansfield lodge with the Den (bar) and doesn't feel touristy. The new resort was very nice too.

Too many people...miss the old Stowe...it's starting to look like Killington...we need more snow so we can escape in the trees!

This was the best skiing I've experienced this season. Went during the week, no lift lines excellent snow and great customer service. The only reason why it does not get 5 stars is that it is very pricy, I booked a private ski lesson for me and my partner, they only had the option of a private lesson for 1... More

I know is not their fault it has not snowed, but charging what they call off season prices is not fair. Equipment rentals are over priced.

For the highlight of our trip we headed to Stowe Mountain on Saturday, for a day of skiing. While there’s been a lack of snow this winter in New England, luckily Stowe Mountain recently invested $10 million into upgraded snow-making— and it showed! There was a good variety of terrain open on most areas of the mountain. Stowe is divided... More

Friends & I had a three day lesson with a Level 3 professional instructor. Skilled at all levels, she was articulate in expressing training techniques to each of us. Using different examples to get point across. Great combination of fun & skiing. Improvements to resort are unbelievable.

We were in Stowe on a Thanksgiving vacation – unfortunately, this year there wasn’t any snow! Ski season at Stowe Mountain opened that weekend, so we were able to take the kids up to play at the base of the mountain. (Wished they offered sledding!) We also took the short gondola trip back and forth between the lodge and the... More

Went this weekend during fall foliage, BUT, it snowed so mountain covered in snow - incredible gondola ride and view - the good! The food at the lodge was the worst we have ever had; $96 for two bowls of clam chowder (the nastiest stuff ever, canned clam chowder is better), a cheese board that had a spoon of ricotta... More

Great place to take a gondola ride and beautiful summit views. Many trails at top if don't want to hike up but still get some exercise. Waterfall only visible after rain storm.
