A wonderful experience! We rode the recreation path on bikes that we rented. We started in town and rode out and back, a 11 mile bike ride total. Beautiful and scenic! It was fall and the colors were exquisite!

great rec path starts in the charming village and winds its way through woods and along pretty streams. Great place for a quiet walk, family bike ride, or for Fido to stretch his legs!

Loved the length, 5.3 miles. So nice to have this in the middle of town. Makes for a good safe walk. My husband got to enjoy some roller blading as well.

The 'rec' path is a good way to get a view of Stowe and the river close up. It runs 5+ miles so it is great for people at all abilities. There is one street crossing but otherwise there is no need to worry about kids on the streets. There is also a 'quiet' path off of the lower section... More

We hired somebikes to do the path from end to end. Its around 5.5 miles long end-to-end and the route takes a more scenic way along the 108. There are places to stop for a picnic along the way or restaurants if that is better. We manged the round trip in around 2 hours as the path is good and... More

We had a great time wandering along the path with our family and dogs. It is a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the scenery without getting in your car.

What a beautiful place even at the end of October. Rent a bike and do the complete path it is so worth it. Several places to stop and smell the fresh air. Path is wide enough to feel comfortable if other people are also there. Enjoy

Loved that we rented bikes during fall foliage. We exited off of path twice to explore the neighboring towns
