No matter the season, we always find a reason to be on the recreation path at least once a visit. Sometimes we rent bikes or skis, usually going the full length and back -- stopping along the way for lunch or shopping. Others must agree because are all ages coming and going. We don't feel like we have done Stowe... more

Whether you go to Stowe in Winter or Summer, the Rec Path is a must do for active visitors. The path runs from the Village of Stowe 5.5 miles toward the mountain, ending near the Topnotch resort. There are several access points along the path with free parking. In Winter, the path is groomed for X-C skiers and snow shoes.... more
