Easy acess from downtown Stowe. Bike early to avoid others who are walking or jogging... Nicely paved path. Be careful when you cross over even though VT motorists are cautious. Wish it was longer.

we loved the fact that we could bike and roller blade. We also brought our dog who swam in the many spots along the path

A well maintained path cris-crossing the river. We cycled the 3 three miles to Stowe and back a couple of times, as well as walking. Plenty of room for both cyclists and walkers.

One purpose in visiting Stowe was to bike. The trails are in great shape and heavily used by all ages. Paths are near many restaurants and also to downtown Stowe.

Wonderful path for walking, biking. Get a real sense of the topography of the area. Mountain, meadow, and river/stream views.

We hired bikes from AJs and cycled the Path. This was enjoyable and we saw lots of families doing the same. The Path also has joggers and walkers but everyone was very respectful of each other. A relaxing couple of hours!!

Did this 8/15 with my fiancée. We rented bikes and started out at basically the midway point. We ended up going the full 11 miles both ways. The paths wind along the river, passing all the local hotels, eateries, ...etc. The path itself is an easy take, not strenuous at all. If you are in the mood for a shady,... More

The rec path is an amazing asset to a wonderful resort. The folks who pioneered its construction decades ago were brilliant! We love it for walking, biking, scootering, and hanging out at the swiimming holes along the river. Some bikers get a little crazy (it's not the Indy 500) so caution is advisable.

It's a lovely, for the most part, shaded path easily accessible behind the church. Lots of interesting art pieces and bridges along the way. Yes, there are people biking along the path, as well as the walkers and runners, but everybody seems to be quite considerate and polite in passing each other so it didn't seem like a problem for... Great for walking, running and biking! There are miles of trail to enjoy through commercial and farming neighborhoods.
