The views for the folliage were spectacular. If you'd rather not walk, you may rent a bicycle or any other non-motorized vehicle. It was a great way to spend a few hours on a nice sunny day.

We took the walking path which starts/ends behind the church-there's a parking lot down the hill behind the church. It's easy walking with beautiful views-a very nice way to escape crowded streets and stores.

Walked out and back total of 10.6 miles. Perfect paved path through the woods, along pastures and creek. Charming bridges only crosses 2 roads great for biking, running, walking, or cross country skiing. I have to compliment the city, the donors and the businesses that donated land to build this spectacular trail.

Great scenery viewed from well maintained walking path about 5 miles or so in length. Bike rentals are a great option.

Lovely path through woods and meadows. We were on foot, so didn't go too far, but it was great to get out and walk. We thought about renting bikes, as there is a rental place right by the path, but the weather didn't cooperate. Still, we really enjoyed it, and it is mostly flat--good for those of us who are... Run without any cars and plenty of fresh air and NATURE to accompany you. The path is clearly marked . Wonderful for biking and walking! There are plenty of benches to relax on and spots for picnics. Photo ops everywhere.

We took the opportunity while in Stowe to take this walk & were told about quiet walk extension which is not open to bikes. Gentle walk beside the banks of the river. Great to get out and stretch the legs after all the driving around. A little gem

It goes along the creek and sheltered by trees. You could also see the horse and buggies go by near you. There are benches every so often. We thoroughly enjoyed using the path
