We had a lovely day here, relaxing in the soaking pools, getting massages and facials, and walking in the gardens. Everyone was really helpful and the people who provided the services were attentive, plus the grounds are lovely! The lunch provided was only average, but it was perfectly fine and we ate it in our bathrobes, so no complaints! Relaxing... More

I spent 3 nights here attending a conference. The room was nice with a fireplace. Lots of nice pillows but the bed was a s hard as a board. Clean, but needed some updating as there were cracked tiles on the floor. My low review was based on my Spa experience mostly. The people who work there really need to... More

Horrible experience! I had checked in to receive spa services and the fees were not expressed upfront and then they nail you with $100 in gratuity before you even have your services. I would recommend anywhere but Stoweflake Spa. When I reached out to the Spa director to discuss the problem she would not return my call. They're only after... More

The Stoweflake exceeded our expectations, from the incredibly friendly staff to the beautiful rooms. The in room fireplace was a welcome amenity on a cold cold evening. Susi at the gift shop was extremely helpful in helping us plan our day. We will definitely plan another trip to Stowe and stay at the Stoweflake!

The Stoweflake was host to wonderful vacation getaway in Vermont. The highlight to our groups visit was Susi, our vacation planner at Stoweflakes' concierge. She was the conduit to all the best things to do, perfectly edited for a balance of snowy activity and relaxation. Susi knows! Some highlights include dog sledding, ski lessons at Von Trapp family lodge, Dutch... More

Nice hot tub, sauna, and steam room; outside heated pool and hot tub for everyone's use. Nice but not co-ed so did not like it as much as the Scandinavian spa in Collingwood, Ontario. Very clean, attention to detail but not set up for hydrotherapy which is what my husband and I really want. I got the impression it was... More

What a great place to visit in the fall. Resort was large with great rooms. Fireplaces were burning and the atmosphere was country! Thanks for the great work by the staff during my visit.

I tried to make the review as short as possible, but if you're short on time, here's a one-liner : They charged us 170$ for services we never received at the Spa (holding our credit card hostage), the facilities were not as described, and we pretty much left more stressed than upon our arrival, with a huge feeling of deception... This is a nice place to spend a day. however, when you order a gift certificate, they don't bother to affix the proper postage and you end up having to pay additionally for the privilege of receiving mail from them. Really disappointing customer service, too. "I will notify the correct department." How about you pay me back for the postage... More

My husband and I ordered a couples massage there and it was amazing. Not only did we have two very good massage therapists, but we were treated to five star accomodations. We were given very comfortable robes and sandals, lockers that had computerized locks on it, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room for each side (men and women had separate places)... More
