Staying at Stowe Mountain Resort was just a wonderful experience. The scenery was beautiful. The service was impeccable. And the hotel and the rooms itself were the nicest I've experienced. A special thank you to Steve from the front desk, who was extra helpful and went the extra step to make our honeymoon feel extra special by being so accommodating... More

All I can say is that all of it looks well developed and first class. We attended a wedding at Spruce Camp which is part of this resort. The sit down dinner was excellent and the room is beautiful.

Clean and beautiful. I loved the atmosphere ad the little shops right in the resort. The spa is very nice. The views are fantastic.

Had a very disappointing experience. I had read several reviews before booking the place and was excited about staying in a luxurious resort. However, during my visit, there was a lot of construction which caused a lot of noise and the views were very disappointing. For the price they charge, I expected a discount for that amount of construction. There... More

During our trip to Vermont to see the fall colors we stopped at Stowe to see if they had Gondola Rides. My dad doesn't ski and we thought it would be fun for him to ride the Gondola up and get a view from the top of the mountain. It was enjoyable and the view was beautiful but basically we... More

Expensive but worth it - wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, good food and situated in stunning surroundings. We were here late September and the colors were starting to creep in - wish we could have stayed on to see them fully turn - no doubt it would have given breathtaking views from Stowe Mountain Resort, since it's in the heart of the... After driving up Mansfield mountain we asked the person taking tolls at the bottom where to go for a light lunch. She directed us along the road to where there was a gondola lift up a mountain and a FREE lift in the other direction to Stowe resort where we found a pleasant restaurant serving just what we wanted by... The service and attention was excellent. After the first day, most of the staff remembered us by name. The accommodations were excellent. Even during the summer season they had a lot going on for the guests. If able, take the "Toll Road" to the summit and walk the summit trail. The views are out of this world.
