Centrally located, serene, attention to detail, spa, pool, afternoon tea, huge room and great pool snack bar. We would return at anytime!

The resort provided excellent accommodations, just outside of smugglers notch. The hotel was beautiful, and the customer service was excellent. This hotel is about seven or eight minutes outside of town.

Went here during Summer to ride the gondola with the kids. Gondola is closed so we rose the forerunner tram up the hill. Honestly, Vermont has been overrun with "liberal" Democrats since my days growing up there and this venerable old resort has evolved a positively Soviet vibe. With about 3 folks ahead of us in the ticket line, I... More

We were really bummed that the Gondola is closed for refurb, but the light at the end of the tunnel was the Quad Chair. Really fun....and when you get to the top lots of different hikes to explore. Bring a sweat shirt, it's chilly up there....even in July.

Nice hotel, aged but very updated and has a very nice fitness room and spa! The hotel restaurant has good food and pleasant atmosphere. Great and friendly staff. I would stay here again.

I loved this mountain. There was a great selection of trails at various levels of skiing ability and even some there were secluded so that you could find them and go through unbroken snow. Great ski place.

Although I would love to go out west for skiing, the fact is that time never seems to allow that. I discovered Stowe a couple of years ago and it is amazing. To begin the village is very nice with lots of restaurants, shopping and just very typical Vermont. The mountain is amazing and I love the skiing here. It... More

We were excited to finally ski the famed Stowe. It was the only ski resort we knew of prior to moving to the East Coast. We were finally able to get to Stowe in mid-March. We skied Spruce Peak right away in the morning, and found it to be very nice, especially the upper runs. I could've stayed there all... More

East coast skiing, no matter where you go, is more like ice skating. Especially when compared to west coast skiing. That said, Stowe Mountain Resort has some of the best skiing you will find anywhere in the region. Great snow making and well groomed runs are well suited to intermediate and beginner skiers/riders. Very limited black and double black diamonds... More

We just learned to snowboard and headed to Stowe to continue progressing & build up our skills. We weren't disappointed with the trails on offer. We felt welcome on all of the green trails (would have been nice to have a few more!) and everyone working their and using the slopes were very friendly & helpful. No waits for the... More
