Loved sampling the beer as the people who work here are fantastic and happy. We did a self-guided tour and it was interesting to watch the beer being bottled.

If you have toured more than one brewery, you probably feel like you have seen them all. The eclectic style of their beer is also reflected throughout their whole facility. The rusty tower with a winding staircase outside... the very interesting and atypical 'beer' merchandise in their gift shop, the names of the machines in their bottling process, their decor,... Another VT Brew Tour stop. Magic Hat is such a cool place to check out. I first went there when they were on Flynn St but their new place is much nicer. The atmosphere is very cool. They allow you 4 samples of their beer which they give you a card that they stamp each time they serve you. The... More

Love this place. You get to sample new beers and check out all the great merchandise. There's even a tour.

After going to the Ben & Jerry's factory we decided to head up the 25 mins or so over to Burlington to visit Magic Hat, something I've always wanted to do. From the outside it doesn't look like much. A giant rusty tower, a small strangely shaped parking lot, dark, rusty doors at the entrance, and a surprisingly small sign.... More

New brewer; beer not as good. Went there for the Mardi Gras festival in Vermont and ending up getting kicked out because some random kid without an ID talked to us and the workers assumed he was with our group. Instead of taking the time to talk to us and punish the underage kid they assumed and lots a lot... More

How can you not like free beer? Well, my wife can't when the venue is a black and industrial facility designed for the sensibilities of 20-something men (she's over 50.) Anyway, we didn't do a guided tour, but a five minute self-guided meander was plenty, as we could see the bottling line doing its thing. And of course, the free... More

I missed the tour but I did sample the beers. There were about 8 beers on tap and you were able to sample four for free. Look above the bar to see what is offered. The beers are listed from left to right based on the style. The glasses are small and they stamped a little card to be sure... More

Got to Magic Hat just in time for the guided tour- joined just a few minutes late. You start off in a large room with TV screens, and an employee tells you about the history. Get's boring real fast as he segways into inside jokes and things between employees about the brewery. I think this tour could use some more... More

This was something I have wanted to visit since I turned 21 and first saw those wacky Magic Hat bottles on the shelf. The facility we visited "Artifactory" was unbelievable. It is what I would believe Willy Wonka would run if he was in the beer business. The building is awesome! The tour was very informative, kept the audience involved... More
