Free tours and beer tasting. Lots of swag in the artifactory. Eight different beers on tap to choose from. Tour was very cool and they were in production when we toured.

We have only been able to try Magic Hat in the bottles at home and were glad to get a chance to try it fresh from the source. You can definitely tell its a nationally recognized brewery, which is great, as they are doing well, but the store is the main attraction vs. the actual beer. They have a huge... More

The Artifactory offers a short tour, multiple sampling opportunities, growler filling and merchandise. The beer is not my favorite in Vermont but the tour and atmosphere is the best. Great stop to for Burlington residents to bring visitors, who can get their picture taken in a beer-themed photo booth and email it to their friends. Each patron is allowed a... More

Magic Hat was a fun and interesting tour. The tour guide was energetic and knowledgeable. The tasting of four beers was just right, although I did manage to go back for four more. The place is as funky as you would expect Magic Hat to be.

We stopped at a lot of micro-brews on this trip but this was the best. The decorations of the store and bar area were really cool. Beer was all good. had a lot on tap.

First time visiting in about 10 years. They have an awesome selection of magic hat stuff and the prices are reasonable. The tour is about 15-20 min and is pretty interesting. It's also free! Be sure to get a growler or two of your favorite brew on your way out!

We went on a Saturday so the factory was not operating. Tour guide was animated but tour was kind of lame. Some interesting facts provided. Photo booth was fun. Most of the tour was the movie.

This is a fun tour, which you only need about an hour or so to do. We had a tour guide who was doing his first tour, so it wasn't great. They show you a film on how they make the beer. After that you get to see how they bottle the beer through the windows. You don't see how... More

After a disappointing Ben & Jerry's, we went to Magic Hat. We had a beer tasting (which was free) with four of their craft beers. The friends I went with are not beer drinkers but we had a lot of fun. We went on the self-guided tour. It was a Sunday so there was no beer being made. I suppose... More

Our guide was animated and keen, but Magic Hat's style of tour was fairly removed from the floor and relied a lot on a video for information. Not exactly interactive. The beer was alright, though odd. A highlight is that they're fairly generous with their sample size. And the tour is free!
