I love birds of prey so we stopped here to see what it was all about. There are 10 - 12 outdoor displays each containing a different species of bird. Eagles, hawks, peregrine falcon, owls, etc. These are all birds that cannot be released back into the wild due to injuries. If you're a photographer you love the photo opportunities...

The main focus here is primarily birds of prey, although there are other small...

I visited here on a very hot July 2010 day with my 8-year-old daughter and 10-year-old bird-crazy son. What a great facility and a friendly, informed staff. We were really impressed. We started with an excellent 45-minute program featuring several raptors, then visited all the raptors in their cages and the rehab center. We went on a short 1/2 mile...

VINS is a small, but very well done nature center near Quechee Gorge. The main focus of the Center is birds, particularly raptors. There are about dozen large enclosures showing off various types of raptors including several kinds of owls, eagles, vultures, and falcons. All these birds are living at the Center because they can't survive in the wild anymore...
