We enjoyed our visit to the Simon Pearce Mill at Quichee so much that we returned for a 2nd visit before we left the area. The first time we browsed through the store and watched the glassblowers downstairs, but the wait was too long to eat at the restaurant. We had been told to check out the Seconds area of... More

We could have stayed there all day and watched the talented workers craft their glass creations! The people who work there will answer questions while they are working on their assignment for the day. It was amazing to see them create glassware, what a craft! You can purchase the glassware at the store on the main floor. There are beatiful... More

We visited Simon Pearce and enjoyed seeing the glass blowing downstairs. The glass blowers explain the process in detail and answer questions. I am sure that the get the same questions over and over again, but they answer them as though it is the first time they have heard the question. The sales associates on the main level were helpful... Simon Pearce produces a beautiful product and thoroughly enjoyed visiting the glassblowing studio. Many artisans were working on different glassware so it was very interesting to view has the glass is hand blown and sometimes takes multiple artisans to work on one piece of glass. From the studio you can walk out to view the falls and now the reconstruction... More

I never knew that a dish or a cup could be a work of art. My wife and I had a great experience **looking** through the store (they sell very expensive stuff that we couldn't afford). The glasses are crystal-clear works of art. You can watch an artisan making these works of art downstairs. Everyone was friendly and answered all... More

I admit to being taken back by beautiful glassware and glass designs, but one would be hard pressed to find better glass items anywhere. Simon Pearce is a wonderful experience ... from watching the glass blowing artisans at work (and they are so friendly that they will take any and all questions and share their techniques with those watching) to... we had a hour wait for our lunch reservation ( you sign in when you get there). Go downstairs & watch them start w/ a blob of liquid glass & see them turn it into a finished glass in about 10 minutes. they will answer any questions as they work. you can also see the bridge repair from Irene.

We have eaten here several times and always had a tasty and memorable meal. We always meander through their stunningly merchandised shop featuring mostly hand blown glassware but some crockery as well. I just had to write and recommend their shop on really excellent customer service. We had a problem with an item we had bought and it was rectified... More
