I love this place you can see a lot of raptors that are in large caged areas . They have all been hurt and are there because they can not live on there own . They have a wonderful lecture so plan on staying to hear it

We arrived at VINS in time to see the Owl presentation. The girl was well-informed & I learned a lot. She showed us several different owls & we were able to get up close at the end of the program. VINS cares for many raptors that have been injured. It was fun to see feeding time. There I also a hiking... More

This is the great place to start you vacation. You must take the time the time to see the bird show and find out more about how birds need your help. Don’t look at this place as a zoo, but as a home for bird rescue. Everyone was very helpful and you can learn a lot about the feathered friends... More

My partner and I loved the chance to see hawks and owls up close and to interact with the very knowledgeable staff. Even the volunteers were able to answer questions.

We decided to check this out after hiking the gorge. It was very nice. They had a great exhibit on birds evolution from dinosaurs. They also had great raptor exhibits. We even adopted an owl!

I'm somewhat of a bird nut, so this Nature Center was great for me. There is quite a bit of hands-on stuff for little ones; I suggest downloading the program schedule as this can change by time and by day. Kids seem to like the snapping turtles and snakes. Certain times of the year, you can watch them feed baby... More

We spent a lovely afternoon at VINS. The raptors are awe-inspiring, and we really liked the show. Loved walking the nature trails as well.
