Vermont is a great place for sampling exceptional quality beer and ale. We got the flight and I loved them all, especially the Roggenbier. It saddens me to think about going for mass produced beer that one can get at a supermarket. The quality of the beer and ale is excellent, as I am sure the ingredients used to prepare... More

We live locally, and we've heard about Jasper Murdock's Alehouse for a while, but only recently had the chance to go. The reputation is the beer is great and it has a wonderful old-style tavern feel. It lives up to its reputation. We couldn't decide which of their house-crafted beers to choose, so we got a tasting flight of four... More

For a meal, don't expect typical "pub fare" here.... the Norwich Inn goes far beyond anything typical you might find in an American style pub. Imaginative and delicious are two... More

We were in Vermont and decided to look around for brewpubs. We found Jasper Murdock's Alehouse here on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. The Alehouse is set in the Norwich Inn which is a very nice looking building. The Alehouse has a bar and seating areas. They have 6 beers on tap which they brew on site.... More

When visiting the Hanover area and Vermont, we headed to the Jasper Murdock Alehouse knowing only that it brewed traditional English ales. The beers were excellent and, much too our delight, not frigidly cold as American beers are served. These beers are cooled to cellar temperature, as is appropriate for English beers. Good beer doesn't need to be served at... More
