The Vermont State House in Montpelier is a great place to visit, it was restored in the 1980s and the Friends of the Vermont State House do an excellent job as guides and source of information. We were amazed when we arrived, no security guards or barriers, in fact we didn’t even see a policeman, the representative of the Friends...
