Absolutely picturesque college. Views of the Green Mountains and Adirondack Mountains. Great place for cyclists and to tour the fall colors and photographs. Covered bridges with rivers through the rolling farmlands of Vermont. We visited our son who attended college here. We would travel during fall to watch his football games.

Lovely buildings and open spaces, what seemed to me to be a quintiessential American college. It was a pleasant place to take a look at.

I took a trip to Vermont to soak in the fall foliage and stopped by Middlebury College. The campus looked lovely with the changing leaves and has the charm of New England in every nook and cranny.

My friend and I enjoyed exploring the campus and photographing the architecture of the buildings, followed by some lunch in town, then seeing the panthers in action at a hockey game in the impressive and newly renovated athletic complex. All in all a great day away from our own college, despite the cold weather.

On campus there are many buildings open to the casual visiting tourist. The museum and art gallery are always inviting. The staff is always friendly and quick to assist visitors. Ask about the coming events at the campus. There are often concerts and lecture/seminars open to the public. In winter ask too about the snow bowl events at Breadloaf up... More

My husband and I were passing through Middlebury and stopped to take a stroll through the campus. I know I'm biased because we both attended UVM and Cornell but I thought the buildings were ugly. The white marble was nice but there was either no variation or buildings that were trying to be too modern and didn't fit in with... More

If you are visiting Middlebury, Middlebury College is a nice stop for a walk through. The Mahaney Center for the Arts always has something to see! The grill at McCullough is a good stop for refreshments. All are welcome.

I have been associated with Middlebury College for many years. My daughter went there and got a great education. The international focus is superb and their language program is the finest you will find anywhere. Add to this a truly picturesque campus, great faculty and staff, fabulous food, and an effective green program, and you see why it gets a... More
