My husband and I were passing through Middlebury and stopped to take a stroll through the campus. I know I'm biased because we both attended UVM and Cornell but I thought the buildings were ugly. The white marble was nice but there was either no variation or buildings that were trying to be too modern and didn't fit in with... More

I have been associated with Middlebury College for many years. My daughter went there and got a great education. The international focus is superb and their language program is the finest you will find anywhere. Add to this a truly picturesque campus, great faculty and staff, fabulous food, and an effective green program, and you see why it gets a... More

Make sure to see the sculptures - there are a lot of outdoor sculptures around the campus, including a Robert Indiana LOVE, and the art museum has a very nice (and free guide).

If you are near Middlebury College you should stop by. It was larger than we expected and crawling with young people speaking every language you could think of - mostly French while we were there. Parking is easy - the historic buildings are beautiful and so are the newest of their facilities. We spent some time wandering the sciences building,... More

This is very much a great college experience, a quintessential New England town with a movie theater, shops and restaurants, add to the quality of life. And then if you want something more in the fall you can go a short distance out of town and observe Snow Geese in their migration

We've been to Bowdoin, Williams, Amherst, Bates, Colby, Tufts, Wesleyan--but the Middlebury campus is our favorite. Athletic fields, hockey rink, golf course, and new fieldhouse are close to the main quads. Take the campus tour but make time to visit the athletic facilities and arts centers on your own. Don't miss the chapel and Bicentennial Hall.

Well, we just drove through at night, but this is an incredible facility, one which I could have attended in my youth.

Had group tour of the college's art museum, permanent collection plus lovely temporary exhibits. Wide-ranging collection. Outdoor sculptures including Robert Indiana's iconic LOVE. Enjoyed sitting outside with beautiful vistas.
