A must stop for the serious fly fisher!

Very nice experience. Low entrance price and nicely laid out. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

If you are in Manchester and you are a fly fisherman you will love the American Museum of Flyfishing. As a new fly fisherman I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the new sport I had taken up after years of using a bait caster fishing for bass. I still like my bass fishing but right now I am learning all... More

Interesting for fishers - nice gift shop and library for others. They were remodeling while I was there but enjoyable. Many old fly rod, reel, line, fle examples. Cost $5; library & gift shop free.

As an Orvis fly fishing junkie I love to go to the "fatherland" when ever possible. Orvis folks recommended the museum and I can honestly say I am so glad they did. I thought I know a fair amount about fly fishing and it's beginnings but to see so much more about the history was amazing. Great price, lots ot... More

If you would like to see Stan Bogdan's reels or the prototype of Orvis CFO this is the place for you. I liked it a lot - wish the hours were more accommodating.

My husband is an avid fly fisherman so this was on his must-see list when we were in Manchester. It's a small museum in a charming older house which has a wealth of information on fly fishing & fly tying. There are many interesting facts about the people who were innovators in the fly fishing world. You can see some... More

We would of loved to see this since my husband is a long time fly fisherman and heard wonderful things about it but the problem is we could not see it since only open Tues-Sat from 10-4. My husband had a guided fly fishing trip that day and we thought it would be open on Sunday but we were wrong.... More

We found this place quite by surprise while walking through Manchester. I care little about fishing but like museums and this was a gem. It is worth seeing for the architecture and beautiful displays. Fun little gift shop too.
