We paid a short visit here and my 4yo had a great time. She loved the Timber River (went twice), and the bungee bouncer. Still a bit young for the zip line though. Really nice place.

Spent June 27th & July 4th 2014 at the Summer Music Series in the courtyard at Jackson Gore in Ludlow. It is a beautiful sprawling lawn area with perfect acoustics for enjoying music with friends and family. Saw the Vermont Symphony Orchestra ($36) and The Butties. The Butties are an outstanding Beatles cover band, and they were free! Worth it... More

After a few great hikes, we paid a visit to the Okemo Mountain Adventure Zone at Jackson Gore for the second time. The Timber Ripper (aka safe mountain coaster) and all of the activities were a hit with kids and parents alike. This year we also tried the Haulback Challenge, which is a 3-level ropes course. So much fun! So... More

I love Jackson Gore as a base for week day skiing. A little quieter and newer than the Okemo base. I like the Coleman Brook Tavern at the end of the day, too.

Jackson Gore at Okemo is by far our favorite family ski area in New England! When taking our family of 5 skiing, including three young kids ranging from ages 4-11, convenience and activities are very important. This place has plenty for everyone!! We pull in Friday evening and drive right up to the lobby, where my wife and kids have... More

Ski back & forth over to Okemo. Stay here slope-side and enjoy an early start, eat lunch at the lodge, then do a hot tub. Skiing was great with mostly black diamonds and blue but a little magic carpet for learners. The tubing did not look inviting. It looked like one had to climb over the hill after getting off... More

Jackson Gore ski area is okay. We only skied one trail - mostly black diamonds and a couple blue. But really easy to ski over to Okemo. The one trail we skied was nicely groomed.

Lodge is better and newer than Okemo. Lessons are offered on this mountain as well. Less trails than main mountain but worth the trip.
