A day at the beach and more....Beautiful picnic groves, open spaces and good family fun. Boat rentals by the hour, 1/2 day or day. Volleyball, horseshoe pit, hibachi grills and a crystal clear spring fed lake. A real Vermont gem right here in the Okemo Valley.

We were attending a wedding held at the park. What a nice spot. The water was clean, warm ( it was Labor Day Weekned), and lots going on. There is a concession stand to rent paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, float boats..... there are grills. They even provide wheeled carts to help you get your stuff onto the beach. Price is... More

This is a nice, family friendly state park. We went kayaking for an hour on the lake which was quite enjoyable. Note that they prefer cash for the boat rentals but will take credit cards at the entrance station. This is a little awkward and sets you up for a walk if you don't have cash. The staff were friendly... More

I visit this park almost daily each year while renting a house for a week in the summer nearby with my family. It is a wonderful park for families or an individual. You can sit under a tree and read a book, rent a pedal boat, kayak, or canoe, and swim in the lake. The park is very clean and... More

We really enjoyed our time in this area! There are lots of activities to enjoy whether you want to hang out at the beach for a relaxing day or rent some kayaks to paddle around the lake or go off on a hiking trail, which is what we did. We took the Echo Lake Vista Trail (and detoured slightly), but... More

State Parks can be hit or miss - this was surprisingly well equipped, well maintained, and lively but not crowded. Great for families.

Spent 4 days in the Cherry Cottage and loved it. Pleasant park staff, clean comfortable cottage, and such a wonderful setting. Wish we'd found this year's ago when our kids were young! Kayaked in Echo Lake from within the park as well as Lake Rescue just to the south and Lake Amherst just to the north. (Both have public boat... More

Go here Rebut a kayak and a paddle board and just have fun. Clean lake for swimming and cooling off. Bring your own food the concession stand is weak at best. But a grant way to spend a sunny day in Vermont. The hike is really nice and well marked. Good old fashion family fun
